BBB Upstate New York: Senior and high school programming
Better Business Bureau of Upstate New York is proud to be in the community, educating individuals of all ages.
BBB’s Senior Scam Prevention program uses the most up-to-date information collected by BBB’s Scam Tracker on trending scams, twists on old scams, and where the scam activity is happening in Upstate New York. We also provide tips to protect your identity and ways to be a wise consumer in an ever-changing marketplace.
BBB also offers Scam Prevention programs for High School and College-age students, In the past 3 years, the age group of 18-24 years become the most susceptible to scams. It is an interactive presentation inviting students to learn the warning signs of scams and how to spot them through different media.
Our Everyday Ethics is a fun, interactive program for high school students. Through real-life scenarios and group discussions, students learn what ethics are, how ethics appear in their lives, and how the decisions they make every day can impact their futures.
