On July 25, 2022 I damaged my phone screen, a ******* Galaxy S20 FE 5g, and requested a quote from Cell Phone Repair (***-North Calgary). They emailed back and advised of the price and said they use authorized ******* products. On September 26, 2022 I got the screen replaced at *** for $229 after GST. Right after receiving the phone back, I noticed that the screen was not working correctly (glitchy, slow, parts of the screen not responding to touch). I went back to the store within an hour. He tried multiple screens and still same issue. I ended up having to go through ******* warranty to replace the motherboard and that still did not fix the issue so they sent it away to their Warranty repairs (*********). They advised a couple of days after receipt that the warranty is voided because the screen was aftermarket. I had to pay an additional $300 to replace the screen and defective sub-mainboard. I advised the *** of this and how ******* said the screen was aftermarket and they reiterated that they use ******* authorized parts and have not responded since I sent them the quote from *********.
