On August 28th 2022, a dumpster got dropped in my driveway for a siding and painting job that was intended to be 6 weeks In length. After several excuses, and several payments, the job was still not completed in December. On December 13th, despite the job not being completed, the final payment was requested and paid. There was supplies left on my driveway for the entire winter months. The downspouts were never completed and in February they were contacted to be made aware that the downspouts needed finishing, and there were pieces of siding falling off the house and bubbling. The painting never was done. I’m April, a visit was discussed and still no paint. ***** no showed us. In May, finally a visit was promised and they completed the eaves and downspouts. Still no siding repair. It was promised that siding repair would happen in June and supplies were dropped off… I specifically stated that I didn’t want it left on the lawn because it would kill it. It is now mid November and not only did it kill my grass, it is still on my property and the siding is still not fixed. I am at all loss here, we paid 50k for a job that was never done. It comes with a 10 year warranty, and in the contract it states that it was to be done in one year. They have now violated their own contract.

Contracted Honest Roofing to replace my home’s roof in late September 2020. Accepted their quote which specifically mentioned reworking the 3 skylights on the back side of the house. The skylights were not done and when I questioned ***** ***** the owner of the company he said it was not needed. Left it at that, in May of 2021 we experienced a severe driving rain and snow storm which leaked around our middle skylight and damaged our hardwood floor, stained our ceiling and soaked our couch. ***** dispatched a tech to make repairs to the roof and when questioned afterwards said that they had made repairs around the skylight. Within a week we called the office and I spoke with an administrator who arranged to have our couch steam cleaned at their expense. About this time ***** was critically injured in a motorcycle accident which I learned about from the administrator when I was asking about the repairs still to do. After repeated calls and nothing moving forward eventually I was able to get ahold of ***** in the spring of 2022. He had been released from hospital and said he would work with me to repair our home. I got quotes from flooring and ceiling contractors but he did not want to pay their prices and suggested his guys come and do the work. I reluctantly agreed and finally his guys stripped the popcorn ceiling and did some rough prep work in December of 2022. Even though they left my house a mess I agreed with him to consider the ceiling as a closed issue. I got a hold of him again in February to see about the flooring and he has now basically ghosted me. I had my lawyer send a demand letter seeking a cash settlement in May, which was ignored. Unfortunately because we were patient with him considering his health problems, 2 years passed and now we can’t take him to court. He is now ignoring repeated calls and texts.
