On December 13th me and my brother visited the BC tires ********* location to buy new tires for his ******* ecoboost premium 2019 car and get them installed. *** and ***** helped us order new tires which were delivered and installed today on December 14th, 2022. I visited the BC tires fleetwood location today and dropped off the car for the them to work on the car. It was ***** and *** who were working in the office. When I went back an hour later to get the car, I made my final payment and left. A minute later I realized that they didn't give me the old tires back. I called them right away and asked about the tires, they said they have them and if I do want them back. I said yes ofcourse I want them back. They said I can come back and pickup both the tires. I went back only to find out that they have thrown away one of the tires in the recycle truck which was on its way to the Annacis island. I spoke to Cam about this and why was I or my were not asked before throwing away the tire that was our property. ***'s excuse was that the tire was no good for future. But that's our decision to make to what to do with our tires, how can he make decisions for the customers and thrown away their property without any consent or permission? There were no apologies made by *** during our whole conversation and his attitude was very ignorant and it looked like he doesn't seem to see a problem in throwing away someone's property without their permission. I asked him if we could get the tire back or if there is any thing he can do to make this right but I was given no solution/alternative/option. On December 13th the customer had arrived at ********************** fraser hwy location, with a blown tire, after discussion customer advised it would be wise to replace 2 tires as it would be beneficial for the vehicle, customer agreed that we should order 2 ********************** and they paid a deposit and the following day December 14th customer was made aware ********************** have arrived they left vehicle at the service center and the work was completed and the tire that was blown was thrown in our tire disposal area where they are then kept until the tire recycle company who comes weekly takes them away, however the one tire that was still in ok condition was put in a tire bag and placed into the customers vehicle, customer had then came to pick vehicle and was told that their one tire that was not blown is in the trunk and for obvious reasons the other tire was not put in the trunk as it was not usable but of course if at that time customer would have let the service manager know that they would also like to keep the one blown tire we would've gladly put the in the vehicle as well. Unfortunately, customer called us the following day December 15 to ask for the blown tire back which again we had no problem giving back but in this case tire recycle guys had already come by and taken all the scrap tires, the blown tire was to no use to anyone and if customer had wanted the tire back they should advise at the time of either vehicle drop off or pick up that they also want the blown tire back in this case we did make customer aware before leaving our facility that we only put the one good tire in the trunk and it wasn't until the next day customer wanted the blown tire back

I am rejecting this response because:
The day I got the tires replaced, I get a call that the vehicle is ready for pickup. I went there and picked up my car as soon as I got on the road I realized that I totally forgot to ask them about the old tires. I called them and asked them about the other two tires and they said they have them at the shop and that I can come back and pick them up. During no time was I made aware or asked that they had thrown away the blown tire. They gave me one tire when I went back and told that the other tire is already on the truck thats on the way to Annacis Island. **** ***** ***** *** ********* *** *** **** **** ******** This is straight up lie that they had placed one tire in the trunk of the car because I had to go back to get it. This is ridiculous.

I booked an apppoitment on July 26th/2022 with BC Tire********** auto repair in Aldergrove as my car was idling rough when I was stopped and vehicle was in drive. I explained to them recently spark plugs had been changed wondered if they had been installed right. advised they would inspect to determine problem with idling. I was charged one hour repair plus shop supplies of 12.00 However, when I drove home, my vehicle was doing the same thing. I have contacted the business twice now and asked for an explanation of what they did to my car or what was inspected, as the invoice only describes the problem I complained of, and says nothing wrong with vehicle. i have booked an appointment with another repair shop to inspect and/or resolve this issue now. I would like to know what they inspected, and what I was charged for or have the monies returned.Business response

THANK YOU FOR REACHING OUT .KENT IS LOOKING AT THE COMPLAINT NOW AND IS CALLING HIS ALDERGROVE STORE AS TO WHATS GOING ON .ONCE HE KNOWS WHATS HAPPENING ,HE WILL TAKE THE NEXT STEP OF REACHING OUT TO CUSTOMER ONCE HE KNOWS WHAT WAS DONE TO HELP RESOLVE ISSUE.

On May 24,2022, I took my motorhome to this business for a "safety inspection'. Upon examination, the owner informed me that all 6 tires must be replaced, plus something else needs to be changed. Anyway, I paid $3640 in total for the service. This is not why I'm making a complaint. After I paid and picked up my motorhome on May 26 I noticed the awning fabric of my motorhome has been torn. It looked like it was driven too close to the edge of a door(gate) frame. The tears were both from forward/backward movement. The onsite manager told me he couldn't tell if it's their fault or not, that I had to talk to the owner or the "camera man" to check their surveillance footage. But the owner was sick and the camera man wasn't onsite neither. He told me they would get back to me. I never heard anything back from them again. I had been going to this business with my other vehicles for over 10 years, spent thousands of dollars. The couldn't even acknowledge what they did. I filed a claim with ****, the adjuster phoned and emailed them to provide the following footages: that the motorhome had already had damages when arrived, or had no damage when left. They refused. **** told me the business doesn't have to provide anything to prove their innocence. That left me to take the losses. It's not fair, I took my vehicle to a shop and expected they would do a professional job. I couldn't be there video taping and monitoring what they do. The damage to the awning is at least around $1000, shouldn't they at least pay to repair it?Business response

These guys don’t even know how to perform a job. Not sure how they have received their license. I went to them for tire mounting and balancing they did completely unprofessional work. All wheel cap accessory were not fit back properly. And also, one was missing and called Mr. Kent s**** to inform what he has done to my car and part is missing. He promised me he will call me back to once the missing part is available to them but never called me. Furthermore, tire mounting is not done properly three tires mounted in same direction and one in opposite direction. I am 100% sure they don’t do quality check before returning vehicle to customers. I request *** to inspect their facility because they are doing ***** and ****** jobs. I want these people to fix tire mounting issue and refund my money for the missing accessory. I have been through a lot of hustle because of them I went ******** to see if they have the wheel cap but they told me they don’t sell it anymore. My time and days were wasted because of these people and I should be compensated for that.Business response

As per the service manager , he has offered the customer to replace the wheel cap, if he gets it from the dealer .Apparently the dealer does not make it any more ,so the service manager did suggest if they could find a used one ,they would be more than happy to put it on for the customer .The customer did not respond after that .Thank youBusiness response

Service manager recalls the car came very late around closing time and as a courtesy they changed the tires .
The only mistake they made was not informing the customer of the missing cap as it was after closing time.
They had a conversation with the customer stating if they are able to find any old one in the store ,we can give it to the customer and put it on for him or if he gets one we can put it on for him.
As far as wrong tires ,the manager is not aware of it.

I am rejecting this response because:He is a big time ****. What he means by car came late? You simply say no when you don’t have time for job. He is trying to act he was nice to me by doing this ****** job. I paid him 134.40$. I don’t understand what courtesy he is talking about. Now, he is ***** wheel cap was missing before, when I told him that your guys did this to my car he was like i will get you the missing part soon.People like him are ********. He must have surveillance camera installed in his workshop ask him to share recording if part was missing we can see it there.

I am rejecting this response because:I already rep***d response he stated is a complete ***. When I paid for job it should have been done properly. Specially when dealing with vehicles it need extra care and inspection. Moment i reached my home i looked at the tires where i found all wheel caps were lose and I called MR. kent to inform him about what they did. He assured me it might be a mistake from guys he will get me the part. Now, he is ***** it was not there before. I already got it paid $15 for it. It just they should understand what they are doing. I don’t need anything but rather than ***** they should apologize for what they done. I don’t know they are into business by doing this ***** and playing with peoples vehicle.

As per service Manger Kent ,He sated he told the customer to come and he offered to get wheel caps for hi.
Customer didn't come back .
Apart from that if he had issues with the tires ,he should have come the next day available ,he didn't come either .
At this point the service manager doesn't know what else is there left to do .
