On August 21 2023, I purchased a used vehicle from ********* Sales. I enjoyed the car and was willing to buy. During the intital purchase on saturday, I paid a $500 deposit and said I would purchase the vehicle the following monday, with vehicle inspection. I also asked them to fix smaller issues with this vehicle. On Monday, they say to me that the inspection is digital and will be sent to me later that day. They told me that the vehicle was road safe and I should be okay.3 weeks following this issue, I never received the inspection report and had to reach out to them multiple times to get this documentation. Fast forward to September 8; I have taken the vehicle to ************ and they gave confirmed this vehicle is NOT highway safe. The rotator belt needs to be replaced, the air compresor is swollen and the ignition switch has broken. These are things that *** ********* say should last the lifetime fo the vehicle. I do believe this is not an isolated incident as I have attached two other public issues were the dealership has done similar practices of selling vehicles that they claim to be inspected, they claim to be roadsafe but start falling apart days after people own them.This business should be held responsible to the individuals they are selling to and using manipulative sales tactics and false information to get sales is one big reason BBB should be getting involved. As a resolution, I beleive that they should be partially refunding me for this purchase. If I had known about the multiple issues with this vehicle I would not have purchased, I was told that they had this vehicle safeted and inspected which *** mechanic can confirm that was not done. They have provided no evidence otherwise that it had been done and a unclear/vague inspection report sent only after the fact, going against the conditions of my offer to them.Initial Complaint

We purchase a vehicle (2012 **** **) from this ********. They said it had been fully checked and it met the standards lf the province. They said it was a car in good conditions. After 1 Day with it the check engine light went on as well as a service due sign. (See atachments) we tried to get them to fix the car but ****** reviews claim they take your car for 10 days and the brother of the man only deletes the light. We took the car to a mechanic and they said the car is a danger to drive which for us is quite dangerous as *** ********. We took it to **** and they say it would be 14 thousand dollars to fix the car. These ******** from LEXA *********'t want to fix the car and won't issue a refund. They scam people and put them in danger saying they inspect cars that they don't. We purchased this car for 18k CAD and would be 14k cad to fix. We really just want some justice in our name and the name of all the people they *******. (Check their reviews) they are real people we have contacted and they are not the competition of these people, as they claim.Customer response

Hi ********, thank you for your prompt response to our claim. We purchased the car the 22 of June 2023.
I was looking on how to contact someone from BBB as we seem to have reached an agreement. They told us tomorrow we can meet them to exchange the vehicle (**** 2012 **) for another vehicle, hopefully with no problems and of the same value. Do you think we can pause the complain please?
