I'd like to make a formal complaint against Bark Busters in White Rock BC Canada. I paid Rob Scheel $1,200 for IN PERSON, DOG OBEDIENCE TRAINING, early 2021 Rob and Bark Busters was happy to take my money and begged for payment immediate after filling out the signup form, and I have only ever met Rob once since April 2021 (almost 12 months ago) Rob assured me he is a trained k9 therapist and obedience trainer and every time I asked him to schedule time with me, he refused to meet me. He said he gave me all the knowledge virtually on 1 phone call and that it is now my job to train my dog. Rob came to my house once, (Yes... once) and he seemed terrified of my dog (my dog is NOT aggressive at all, excessively friendly in fact), and Rob seemed scared of my dog's breed (Rottweiler) and refused to handle my dog, walk him, or touch him. I asked Rob to show me how to handle and train my dog by SHOWING ME and he said he wouldn't do that. It's not his job, apparently. I continued to ask Rob to schedule time in person and TRAIN MY DOG and myself and like I said, it has been almost 12 months since I signed up and I am FED UP! $1,200 is NO SMALL AMOUNT of money. All he has ever done is send me emails every day with "tips and tricks"... REALLY!? That's what I paid $1,200 for!? What Rob taught me, I ALREADY LEARNT FROM ******* FOR FREE! Rob even told me on our initial virtual call that I was already a "**** **** ******** ** *******" and that I have done an exceptional job with ********. I EXPECTED AND NEED A TRAINER TO COME AND TRAIN! What in the world is "Bark Busters" even here for if I am supposed to figure all this out via video and email!? I have also submitted this complaint with Bark Busters, asking for an explanation and full refund and will consider retracting my BBB complaint if Bark Busters refunds me in full. This is a scam and has been a very frustrating and expensive experience ***** ******Business response

Good Day
I am here to defend the claims made by ***** ******. Attached is the letter I sent to him before he submitted this complaint to the BBB. I hope you can see that his claims are greatly exaggerated and I hope you can see that I have already made an offer of 50% refund to settle this before the claim got to this stage.
***** also submitted three additional e mails from me suggesting that I am stressed and too busy. The stress that he refers to is not the business, but the fact that he was delinquent in his payment. When he finally paid the invoice, the stress went away.
There was a letter dated March 4th that he wanted to see me as soon as possible. We met on March 17th, not bad given that the 3rd e mail states that there is a wait list for clients. He got in within 9 days. Normally the wait list is two weeks.
I hope you received the attached letter and that this helps resolve the matter.
Regards
