Last fall I purchased a basic burial package from Snows Lacewood *** I am a senior and I found my monthly deduction high but was also told that I could pay lump sums to resolve it quicker. Last month I contacted Snows to do this, the lady that handled it first was not available, another women to me I had to call directly to the insurance company holding the financing.When I did they informed me that was not possible, I had to pay the whole amount or cancel. So I had no choice but to cancel and lose $1,700, or continue to pay a large monthly amount, as a senior that was difficult, so I cancelled therefore losing that money. I was told by the insurance lady that I was paying insurance and I thought I was paying for my funeral arrangements. The original person phoned me back after this and told me that that wasn't accurate that I could indeed pay a lump sum. She asked if I'd keep it if she could arrange it. I never heard from her again, I called several times asking to speak with her, not available, asked her to return my call but she never has So I have lost a substaial amount of money. I have since learned from another funeral arranger that that money could have been transferred to them. then at least I'd have arrangements and that would have almost covered the cost with them for the same basic serviceCustomer response
