I paid $593 back in March (March 3rd 2022) for a tutor for my son, provided two additional post dated cheques for the amount of $494 each and signed a contract to provide assistance for my son twice a week (Wednesday between 5-8pm & Saturday between 10-4 - one hour session) we waited almost a month to find a suitable fit, and the days/hours didn’t work for the tutor we were assigned so we agreed on one day per week (Fridays). The first cheque was cashed March 10th & we still hadn’t received service in April, so a hold was placed on the final two cheques until we did, they proceeded to try and cash the additional/next cheque without receiving service yet; we then received an email saying the tutoring would not be available unless we provided additional payment (for which we still hadn’t even received any sessions for the $593 iv already paid) all email documents are available upon request! I canceled the service and requested a refund of our money as I was tired of waiting for help for my son which he needed months ago; they said they would refund $344 (minus $99 for the registration fee & $150 deducted for cancellation) which I didn’t care; I would eat the loss, but this was only supposed to take 30 days to return, I have since reached out to see where my $344 refund is, as it’s been over 30 days now and was told on Tuesday that they would look into it & have yet to receive anything back. Upon review of their ******** page, numerous customers have been having the same experience and have waited months for HALF a refund, if received at all! This is absolutely unprofessional on a companies part that’s supposed to be helping children & parents with additional support - not providing service and still charging for it & not being diligent with refunding but quick to take payment and cancel/hold service unless additional money is provided. I would like this resolved in a timely manner & receive my partial pay & would like to never have to deal with this company again.
