I WENT TO EDP MECHANICS ON JULY 27TH LIKE I ALWAYS DO WHEN HAVE A CAR PROBLEMS BUT THEY CHANGED OWNERS NOW SO THINGS WERE DIFFERENT I TOLD THEM MY CAR PROBLEM AND THEY SAID THEY COULD FIX IT AND THEN CHARGED ME **** ** AFTER WORK WAS DONE I PAID AND THOUGHT I WAS ON MY WAY. THEN AS SOON AS I LEFT THE CAR PROBLEM WAS HAPPING AGAIN SO I DROVE IT BACK RIGHT AWAY AND TOLD THEM YOU DIDN'T FIX IT, THEY SAID OH LEAVE IT WITH US WILL SEE WHAT'S WRONG. THE NEXT DAY THEY PHONED AND SAID MY CAR COULD NOT GO ON ROAD , I SAID WHY? THEY SAID BECAUSE THE WHOLE FRONT END NEEDS TO BE DONE THEY SAID IT WAS AROUND *******?? I SAID BUT YOU JUST LOOKED AND TRIED TO FIX IT YESTERDAY SAID YOU DID FIX IT CHARGED ME ****** AND RELEASED IT TO FOR ME TO DRIVE ON ROAD WHATS CHANGED IN 24 HOURS? BESIDES YOU HOLDING MY TRUCK HOSTAGE . THEY SAID THEY MADE A MISTAKE AND FIRST-TIME MECHANIC DIDN'T OBVIOUSLY SEE THAT COULDNT BE ON ROAD BEFORE CHARING ME INITIALLY THE **** AND NOW LEGALLY THEY SAID MY TRUCK COULD NOT LEAVE UNLESS I PAID ANOTHER **** OR HAD IT TOWED.....AT THIS POINT IM *** IN THE HOLE AND THEY STILL DIDNT FIX IT SO I SAID GO AHEAD FIX FRONT END I DONT REALLY HAVE A CHOICE BUT I WANTED ORIGINAL PROBLEM FIXED STILL I PAID *** FOR. SO THEY CHARGED ME TOTAL NOW **** RELEASED MY TRUCK BACK TO ME WITH SAME PROBLEM. I BOUGHT IT BACK AGAIN THEY WERE FRUSTRATED IM SURE BUT IM THE ONE OUT MONEY PAYING FOR A SERVICE NOT BEING DONE, THEY WORKED ON IT PUT IN A FREE THROTTLE THEY SAID?? AND RELEASED IT WITH SAME PROBLEM A 4TH TIME, I CALLED THEM AND SAID ITS STILL NOT FIXED IM OUT ****.00 THEY SAID THEY CANT FIX IT DONT BRING IT BACK THEIR EXHUSTED ON WORKING ON IT ITS 1986 AND THEY CANT HOOK A COMPUTER UP ITS TO0 HARD OF A PROBLEM LITTERIALLY THEY SAID A GHOST PROBLEM , WHAT KIND OF MECHANIC KEEPS TAKING YOUR MONEY ***** SAYING THEY FIXED IT WHEN THEY DIDNT I WANT MY *** DOLLARS BACK FOR ORGINAL FIX. I have spoken with the customer and we have agreed upon a settlement.
The issue was caused by a failure in our service process, which we have and are continuing to rectify.
The customer has agreed to retract this complaint upon settlement.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 20439787, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. The owner called and we worked things out to be fair on my end for the service i required .
