The Tellwell team made the daunting task of publishing a book a reasonably pleasant experience. All deliverables on the project were completed early or on time. Correspondence and phone calls were always polite and prompt. Price and deliverables were comparable or better compared to other self-publishers. Quality control was lacking. Some changes I sent during the revision rounds were missed or not done correctly. I sensed that nobody at Tellwell was checking the work that was done. An incorrect word got through to the online listings and has never been corrected. I paid extra for this change and was assured it would be done. Marketing was good but my book has never been shown on the Tellwell website as either a new release or in print.Review from Niah B

If you are like me, and want the best for your story, then Tellwell is your best bet. I was not willing to put myself through the rollercoaster of traditional publishing. I also didn't want to give up my control or most of my royalties to them. So, I decided I would try self-publishing and went in search of how to do that that was easy and affordable. My search led to Tellwell and after reading the testimonials and watching the videos, I felt comfortable reaching out. The next day they contacted me and provided me with everything I could want to make a informed decision. They didn't hide anything; everything was very straightforward and easy to understand. All my options where given and they provided someone to walk me through it. They didn't try to up sale me just made recommendations that fit my situation. The experience itself was painless, the OCTAVO system is an amazing tool that made communication between my editor, book layout designer and cover designer so painless! My experience with Tellwell has been excellent. The entire process from beginning to end was professional and prompt. I was apprehensive at first, being a first-time author, but the personal treatment and suggestions during editing, as well as their support through the entire process, greatly exceeded my expectations. I am extremely pleased with the final results, and my gratitude to the entire team is beyond words. I cannot begin to describe the quality of service I received from Tellwell during the editing process. As my manuscript was somewhat lengthy, being over 600 pages, I was highly skeptical that sufficient time would be dedicated to review and edit it in its entirety. Upon receipt of my manuscript following the first round of editing I was overwhelmed at the professionalism and knowledge possessed by my editors, who far exceeded my expectations by providing me with literally hundreds of comments and suggestions. The superbly blended collection of suggestions, constructive criticism, and praise provided me with the knowledge and tools I needed to elevate the quality of my manuscript to a higher level. I have worked with Tellwell Publishing two separate times, and I have nothing but good things to say. First, they are trustworthy. You needn't be concerned about being scammed; I've been there and know how it feels to be ripped off. Tellwell people are talented, quick to reply to your questions and offer everything an author needs to get their book published. It was a total joy to work with Tellwell in completing my book. Personal interactions were both friendly and efficient. Online interactions were on time and as described. Questions and misunderstandings were addressed and resolved efficiently and effectively. 100% total satisfaction. Amazing attention to spelling and grammatical detail. Prior to my first meeting with Tellwell, although I had my manuscript all but finished, publishing the book in my mind was a monumental undertaking and from stories I heard in the past, most likely out of my reach financially. Fast forward 3 months; I received the book's first printed copy, and this being my first book it was a life-changing event. Initially, I was a bit apprehensive that I didn't know enough to put the book together, however, I realized early on that I had nothing to worry about.
