      Please see enclosed details regarding the Manitoba Business Envirodoctors ** *** ********** ****** ******** ******** * *** ***** ** ***** ********* Envirodoctors were hired by myself to do mould and flood cleanup at *** ***** ***** ** *********  The owner of the house is Andrew ********an elderly man with Dementia. I Gloria ******* handle his affairs (power of attorney). An agreement was made that ****** insurance was to pay the total amount of 5000.00 for the damage directly to Envirodoctors with the overpayment of 2000.00 to be paid out to my self so additional work like flooring etc could be contracted out to other suppliers. Envirodoctors completed the job November 8,2022 and insurance sent out the cheque . The cheque cashed the week of November 20/22. I have numerous emails and text messages confirming that an etransfer or cheque could be picked up at their office. To date no etransfer and when my daughter went to pick up a cheque at the time they specified …the office was closed. I need to collect the overpayment of 2000.00 from Envirodoctors . **** ******* ** ****** *** **** ** ****** ******* ********** * ***** *** ****** ******* *** *** ****

      ***** ****** ****** ** *** ********* *** *** ******* ********* We were contracted to do a mould cleanup after flooding took place. I attended the house which was in shambles and provided an estimate for the clean up and mould remediation of $4000.00 plus taxes. Mrs. ******* who met me at the house at *** ***** said that she could not afford that since there was other work to be done before the bank foreclosed on the house. I agreed to lower the price to $3500.00 which she agreed too, we wanted to help her out. We did the job which was much larger than anticipated and we did what we could to accommodate her since she was going back to Toronto. Our crew also went in on a Saturday to speed up the process. Once the job was done and it came time to pay, she said that she had a cheque from ****** Insurance and she will go and cash it and pay us. She told us to meet her at the *** **** ** ******* *** ***** She was not able to cash the cheque since it was not in her name and she said that she will contact the insurance company to see if she could have the cheque re-issued to us directly and then if we would give her back the difference. She asked for $2000.00 instead of the difference of the $3500.00 plus taxes. We received an email that the insurance company would send us payment, and we waited for the cheque which took a bit and we deposited the cheque when it arrived. We informed Gloria that we incurred more dumping fees than originally expected, due to the amount of extra garbage that she asked if she could dump during her cleanup of other stuff since we had a big dump bin at the site. I told her that we will not give her back $2000 but $1750.00 so we could at least break even and she agreed. She asked for an E-transfer and we told her that we will issue her a cheque for our bookkeeping purposes. She said that she would send her daughter, we were not closed, but the cheque was not ready as I was away, the cheque was done up, it just needed to be signed. I was in the hospital for a bit dealing with a health issue so there was a delay and we had sent her messages to that fact. We offered to deliver the cheque to her daughter and she asked us to deliver the cheque to some address on ******** we had no idea who we were delivering this too but we did what was asked of us. To protect ourselves, we had the person that received it sign for it on December 15. She has received the funds that were promised to her. 

      December 22, 2022: Consumer contacted BBB and indicated that the matter has been resolved.
