      went in to purchase a 2022 mazda cx-9 from yarmouth mazda, was told i was approved on a loan with me and my fiance'. while signing the documents i had noticed that only my name was on the paperwork even tho the finance guy kept telling me we were both on it, finally he noticed it and told us he would get us both on it with the same rates and payments. the next day they contacted me and told me if we were both on the loan the payments would be higher and double the interest. i decided to purchase this vehicle with just my name on the loan to get the better rates, i signed the paperwork put down $1000 dollars traded in my old vehicle and drove away with my new mazda cx-9, or so i thought. Two weeks later i had a call from mazda saying that they needed pay stubs to finalize the loan and that it was just for there records and nothing would change. Today June 6, 2022 i get another call from yarmouth mazda telling me that the loan i signed was no longer valid as my income was not enough to get the rates i had previously signed and that the only way to keep the vehicle would be to get the loan with my fiance as well but with double the interest and the payments beyond what we agreed to. i had told them that i signed the deal for what i we had agreed on and if i cant have that then i dont want to do the other deal. i brought back the new car and got my old vehicle back, when i asked where my $1000 dollar deposit was that i put down on the deal we had agreed to previously i was told the deposit was gone. I would like my $1000 deposit back from a deal that they attempted to change at no fault of mine.

      Refund of deposit will happen asap. Accounting department is located in our sister dealership. We will try to have the chèque in the customers hands within 48 hours.
