Had clutch replaced in my car, now 3 months later they claim it needs replacing again, blaming the driver as the cause to why it needs replacing.... I beleivethis is incorrect... I beleive they did something wring while Installing it... All I want done is for them to fix it and no cost to meBusiness response

The customer bought this vehicle used in October-November 2021 used with approximately 45000-46000 kilometers. The vehicle was towed to our shop around January 05/2022 with 49650 kilometers. We accessed the vehicle with a completely burned out clutch and at this point we recommended having a new clutch kit and new flywheel installed. With the customer's permission we replaced a new clutch kit bought from Partsource Belleville on invoice ****** and a new flywheel bought from Belleville Nissan on invoice ******. The install was completed and then the vehicle was test drove by our technician and myself and worked perfectly. The parts we used are covered by a one year warranty on manufacture's defects and our labour is also covered for one year. The car was then towed in again around April10/2022 with 52206 kilometers on it. We did a visual inspection and notified the customer that the clutch is burned up again. Unfortunately we cannot guarantee people's driving skills. The technician that performed this work has been working here for over 17 years and has never had an issue with installing a clutch. THIS IS NOT A DEFECT IN PARTS OR WORKMANSHIP. Also in her google review she admits she burned out the clutch learning to drive a manual transmission.

I am rejecting this response because, I don't agree with the mechanic at all....yes she burnt the first clutch she admitta that....but the 2nd time in basically 3 months.... I was even driving it during that time...and ivdrove manual for 20+ years..... And the clutch felt sloppy even when I drove it.....ao no I don't agree with Mr transmission saying it's driver error....they need to honor there work and fix our car, at no charge to us....17 years as a mechanic, ok and he's never made a mistake installing a part ever ? So I'm closing I want y car repaired at no coat to us, if it happens again in months then fine it's driver error but not exactly 3 months after ot was fixed the 1St time...even the mechanic said "I don't wanna see u back in 3 months time).....its like he knew then what was going to happen :

I said in my response that the technician has never had an issue with a clutch installation not that he's perfect. The gentleman also says in his response that he's been driving standard for 20 plus years but yet when he drove out of the parking lot when picking up the car he stalled it 3 times. The clutch can only be applied by depressing the clutch pedal it's impossible for it to be applied by itself. So again it's not a defective part or installation issue. If the clutch felt sloppy from the beginning why didn't he return for a free inspection. A clutch disc is a friction material and is a wear item and is not covered by any manufacturers.

I am rejecting this response because:.....i didn't stall it 3 times leaving there parking lot....never once stalled it...so that's a lie by them. ..I didnttake it back in cause I thought it was just cause it was new oarts.....but guess we don't know how to driveaccording to Mr transmission..... I want them to fix my car properly, where it doesn't die in 3 months time.
