The reason for my dispute is extremely straight forward. I went to Auto Block to have a new engine put into my vehicle. After waiting an additional 5 months for the last part to arrive- due to his negligence, said part was ok. Actually himself and another mechanic said the part was fine and didn't need replacing. That was not the case. so the part finally arrived in December, and i had a few choice words because of his ************* and to my disgust on handling this matter, I was told to leave the premises with my vehicle and then had me banned from the business property. I spent $9,000 to have this engine replaced and installed, and now he is refusing to fix it. Said let's battle it out in court. I now have a new engine that still doesn't work and I'm out the 9,000 dollars. It has been on his property since March of this year, and i still have no car to drive. ** ** **** ******, and I would like this issue resolved after almost a year of waiting.

      Response to Complaint
      To Whom It May Concern:
I notice that one of my customers filed a complaint with the Bureau. It is incumbent on me to file my response to this complaint. Below is an overview of this matter.
This person came in to my shop in July, 2022 with his vehicle that had engine damage. An estimate of the cost to repair his car was provided and accepted by him. Unfortunately, it took ******* 4 months to supply the new engine!
After the engine was installed, further damage was discovered. Again, parts were ordered from *******. Following a two month delay, the parts came. The cost of the turbo charge was $1,400.00 which I gave to the customer. However, the customer did not pay for this part.
All during this unfortunate matter, I provided regular communication and updates to the customer. Each time that the customer spoke to me or my staff, either in person or on the telephone, it was with an aggressive or *********** manner. Many times, these confrontations were in the presence of my other customers or employees.
As a result of his *******, I was forced to file a police report which led to him being issued a restraining order not to enter my property.
Since I also have video surveillance cameras, many of these unfortunate exchanges are recorded.
All of my work was performed in a professional manner. The problems with the vehicle were not my fault.
This is the final response to your Bureau on this matter and I have submitted it to my lawyer as well.

      Customer response

      02/02/2023

After going through the responses - clearly not written by the accused,
It would appear that not only his actions are **********, it also shines a light towards his  infinity for **** *** ******.
Firstly, as far as customer service is concerned, this individual and his boy wonder. have absolutely no inclination
      of what this even constitutes.
Good customer service means that you actually have some genuine concern for your client base, and would normally
coincide with good communication between the two parties,
He claims to have excelled in both of these areas, unfortunately, the whole notion itself - of course having witnessed this first hand, is completely and entirely popstrous.
I would leave message after message on a regular weekly basis, and my inquiries would fall along the wayside, and very rarely would
I ever get a response in return. The communication with this individual  reached the level  of absolute ************* to the point, that i had
to have my 76 year old father, go to his place of business, kindly ask **** ********* to please keep me updated on his very slow, basically non existent progress,
when it came to the completion of getting my vehicle up and running.
******* also has a penchant for making very serious allegations about my character, which I'm taking extremely serious, as will my lawyer as it pertains to me as
      an individual.
