Visited December 26th 2021. Bought 4 pairs of ****** pants for girls, 2 were size 7/8 and 2 were size 10/12. Received a 25% boxing day discount. Was charged 13% tax for the items. Called the company on Dec 27th to inquire why full tax was charged on children's clothing and was told that because there was already a 25% discount, they couldn't do another 8% discount. If it was a regular purchase they said I would have seen the 8% discount (5% tax does not mean an 8% discount). I tried to explain this but wasn't getting anywhere and the issue was not getting resolved. I stated that they can't charge full tax on children's items. They said for ****** and youth clothing it is full tax. My invoice number is *****. They did look it up but the issue did not get resolved.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/01/07) */ On Dec 26 2021 We had a store wide sale. During this sale we had to override manually any PST exempt items such as the items the customer purchased. However unfortunately this was not the case for this invoice. Due to the sale week we had a new temporary seasonal employee and over the phone the person was not aware of this. For this reason we sincerely apologize to the customer for the error. We request the customer can bring back the receipt and we will make her a new invoice and credit her the difference. In addition we would like to extend an offer to the customer a $25.00 store gift card that they can redeem anytime. This is for the inconvenience that they have ordained. The customer can contact the store or come in person to redeem & Once again We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.
