Hello, I ordered 2 junior weighted blankets from Simple Sleep on November 25, 2022. ORDER #********, paying $178.54 on my ** credit card. On November 27, 2022 I received an email saying my order had been shipped with tracking number ******: ********************* After a few weeks I realized something was wrong, maybe the package had been lost, I didn’t know. What info know is that after November 28th the tracking was never again updated. I attempted contacting the company through their ‘contact us’ email on December 19, 23 and 27th, with no response. I tried to call them daily as well but the number never connected. Prior to them sending the shipped email, I had a question about the order and wanted to make sure it came with 2 covers so I sent an email through their contact us page and received a reply the next day. ** ** **** * ***** *** **** *** ** ***** *** ** ***** **** ***** ******* ** ********* The company has not done anything to resolve the issue, nor have they contacted me. I purchased a weighted blanket from Simple Sleep on 17 October at a total cost with taxes of $103.95. I received the blanket on 25 October. The product is sold with a 100 Night Trial Guarantee. This promised that I could return it for a full refund if not satisfied with the item. After one week I found that the blanket as not helping my sleep as hoped and decided to return it. I initiated the return process with Simple Sleep on 1 November and mailed the blanket back to them the same day via ****** **** (Tracking ****************), carefully following the instructions received from their customer service supervisor *********** *** **** *** **** *** ******** ***** ******** the company has still not processed my refund, communication from ********* is very intermittent, and full of unkept promises of action. Furthermore, the ** tracking information shows that they have still not accepted delivery of the returned blanket. I tried calling the telephone number on their website but this was not in service. I ordered this October 31st - on their website it states 1-2 days shipping. Interestingly for their Black Friday sale (which is on now) they say same day shipping - and they have zero stock !! I bought a blanket from this company, seeing their 100 day guarantee. I didn't get the blanket in time, and after about 4 weeks, asked them to cancel my order and bought a blanket from another company (have proof of this). They said the order could not be cancelled and I would have to return it. Got the blanket TWO WEEKS after it was supposedly already shipped out. Never got tracking. Tied this blanket in the box it came in to my bike with twine because of course it's too heavy to carry. I believe the company is behaving this way hoping that people will not do the return. I followed the instructions exactly, wrote my full name and details on a piece of paper to go into the box, and sent it off. They recommend getting a tracking number but the cost of the return with that tracking number is $56 (more than half the money I am owed) so I go for the cheaper option at $32. They kept emailing me back for months after than when I never got my refund saying they were looking into it and it's hard without a tracking number. I believe they do this knowing that the bank will only reverse the charge within four months of purchase. After 4 months they stopped replying to my messages at all. Now they are saying they can't do anything because it's been too long. It's been too long because of you!! The worst part it, I didn't even take the blanket out of the plastic it came in, in the box, feeling bad for this company and hoping they could just sell the blanket to someone else. Having suffered a lot financially during the pandemic, I didn't want to make a small business also suffer on my account. I don't care anymore. *********************************. I hope people can just read this if they're on the fence about buying from this company. IF TRACKED RETURNS ARE MANDATORY, SAY IT ON YOUR WEBSITE.
