Have collected two ultimate dining cards for gifts but have been unable to use either. First instance we tried to use the card online via ****** ***** website but was unable. Called support and said try entering it as a credit card otherwise you will have to use it in person. Didn't work on fine. Went to ***** in Edmonton they claim "oh those cards don't really work for us" waitress asks the manager and they confirmed they don't work in their location. Went to ****** ***** in person. Same response as *****. We don't have any luck using those here. Where are we able to use these cards??Business response

The Ultimate Dining Card does not represent the ***** and ****** ***** restaurant brands, which would be the reason why you were not able to redeem your Ultimate Dining Card at ***** and ****** ***** restaurants.

Purchased a gift card (the ultimate dining card) on April 12th 2022. The cashier forgot to activate this card so I called the head office and told them I sent them a copy of the receipt and gift card showing that it was purchased but not activated. They said they would look into it. APRIL 28TH they sent me an email for my mailing address and stated that a new card would be issued and mailed. Still have not recieved the new gift card and I have phoned them once a week from May 10th until the present and I get the same answer each time.....We will forward this to head office and escalate the matter. ************************** ************************************************************************************************* ****************************************************************************************************************************Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/06/21) */ Guest purchased a dinner and movie Gift Card combo at *******. Ultimate Dining Card was not activated correctly. Guest notified us of error and concern was escalated to the vendor on the April 24 (once all documentation) was provided to us by the Guest. An update was provided on April 29 by the vendor and the issue was identified. Guest was contacted to provide mailing address for a replacement and this was provided to us on June 1. As of June 21, the Guest has been issued a replacement $50 Gift Card (couriered overnight), as well as, an additional *** eGift Card (sent within 72 business hours) to the Guest's email provided. Guest's ticket is now closed. No pending action is required.Initial Complaint

I received a gift card ************* and the card had a bonus offer in additional savings of $175. When I went to active the cards the $50 was good to go but the bonus card was listed as expired. When I call the company they said it expired 90 after it was purchased. Which is not written any where on the card or bonus card. ********************************************************************************************************** I expected that they should honor both the gift card and bonus card values.Business response

Our Bonus Cards are loaded with $175 in coupon offerings at our participating restaurants. There is no cash value. The Bonus Card is sold on select $50 Gift Cards sold at select retail locations. These Bonus Cards are active for a period of 90 days after the initial primary $50 Gift Card's activation. In this case, the primary $50 Gift Card was activated on October 15, 2020, and the Bonus Card was active until January 15, 2021. The back of the Bonus Cards indicate that for a list of terms and conditions the card holder can visit the website https://************************************. Bonus Card legal is as follows: Buy $50 Ultimate Dining Card at participating retailers and receive $175 in coupon savings at 10+ restaurant brands. Potential savings are based on maximum discounts from regular menu prices. Conditions and limitations may apply and vary by coupon, including but not limited to spending minimums and meal selection limitations. Valid at participating locations only.
