Do not hire Jesse Eades Carpentry. He is a fraud! He scammed me $20,000 and never completed a 1/4 of the work as per contract. He only purchased $2800 in material and I gave him 11k for material upfront. Never provided my shingles, and was very short in the siding material. The work he had completed had to be removed as it was not done properly. He also purchase the wrong siding color and told me there was a fee to return even though it wasnt a premium color. He has avoided all contact on returning my money. I still have his utility trailer, and he has made no contact since April to pick up, because i wont release it until he pays me back. Hired him for a bathroom renovation. Didn't hear from him for months after paying the deposit he wanted for materials and finally was able to get him to commit to completing it 6 months after the payment date. He went eight weeks over that promised due date and avoided my calls, emails, and text messages the entire time. When he did show up he worked for 2 hours before making up an excuse why he had to leave. He frequently asked for more money saying he was in financial trouble or needed it to pick up materials that should have already been purchased. He left my bathroom with a ripped out shower, damaged tile, floor with no moisture barrier and removed and discarded all of the trim even though that was not part of the renovation. All of the demolished materials (floor tiles, vanity, etc.) were not removed and just left on my property for me to deal with. I had to hire another company to come in and finish or redo his work. I would hire any other person in the area and save yourself the time and headache.Review from Luke H.

He built a cottage for an elderly couple. Charged them $140,000 left the job unfinished and 8 years later the walls and floor are rotting out of the building because he didnt do any water proofing. Not to mention not one footing is square or level and he used chip plywood as leveling shims for the building. Windows installed crooked along with patio door. Wiring was done all wrong The list goes on. When the building was inspected and condemned. Jesse was confronted about his ******* ship. He said. SEE YAH ON THE **** SIDE !Review from Eric T

This man will talk a good talk but is a con artist. Hired him to do my roof, install new soffit and fascia, and replace my vinyl siding. He left the job unfinished in December 2021 and was paid in full, cash, plus a large tip, and never returned to finish. He abused my trust and generosity, saying he needed the money to buy his kids Christmas presents. Two dozen phone calls from various phone numbers so he could not block or screen my calls. When he did answer, he gave me the run around. I've since learned he has done the same to at least one other person in the ********/Renfrew, Ontario area. Avoid at all costs. I've had to hire a new contractor to finish the job and fix his poor workmanship (new vinyl siding blew off house after 1 month).
