      A Plus Air installed a new Heat Pump and furnace as well as humidifier in our home for $15,000 as a subtrade of *** **** ***** Canada. We also had a 10 warranty with the system. After the installation we had very dry air in the house which caused us great discomfort sleeping at night. A Plus Air often serviced our system annually for cleaning and we explained the house had very dry air. They would check the humidifier and replace the pad. 9 years had passed and we finally discovered that A Plus Air had never cut a hole into the furnace duct to allow moist air to flow from our humidifier through to our heating system. They attached the humidifier flange to the solid metal wall of the exterior of the furnace with 8 screws but never cut a 6 inch hole into the furnace. A Plus Air Systems has the sales contract yet denied they installed the humidifier and refused responsibility unless I provided my copy of the receipt. I'm very disappointed with A Plus Air's refusal to take accountability and their careless ** *** ********* installation of the humidifier and will never use them again.

As per our system information the above mentioned heat pump installed in 2009 and do not show a humidifier as part of the installation. customer says he bought the humidifier from **** ***** in Etobicoke south, we are not a contractor for Etobicoke **** *****. We asked for proof of purchase as this install happened 14 years ago and we do not have actual paperwork other than system information. We are still happy to replace with new humidifier if we know customer bought humidifier from us. Steven A. Manager, Administration

      The furnace was not purchased from the Etobicoke store but another **** ***** store in Toronto.. A Plus Air originally told me they had the receipt, but it would be difficult to locate it. They put the onus on us and asked me to provide it and when I couldn't produce it right away they denied they ever installed the humidifier but did state they installed the furnace, AC Unit , Heat pump and water heater. We presented the receipt to **** ***** which shows a Humidifier was part of the purchase and have finally resolved this with *** **** ***** ******. I was not able to attach the receipt on this chat.

      Regarding the customer claim that we were doing maintenance every year was not right, After the purchase of heat pump system, the first time customer called us for furnace issue was on Nov 2017, we checked and found weak flame sensor, replaced under warranty and found furnace need maintenance, completed maintenance and changed air filter. Next visit was booked on July 2020 for heat pump not working, but was cancelled later by the customer. Our next visit was on July 2022 as requested by customer for furnace and HP maintenance, on this visit we have done a full maintenance and replaced all filters including humidifier filter, all this time there was no word from Mr. *** about about the humidity issue at the house. According to technician, 2 hours after the service completed while he was on his next job, Mr. *** send him a text and picture saying humidifier was not installed properly and no hole on plenum. Mr. *** has many contractor doing jobs and was not sure who installed his humidifier. I have documents to support my claim for each visit and service report. We should not be panelized and broadcast worldwide for something we never have done or know of. we have thousands of happy customer over the last 30 years we do not mind fixing issued like this at any cost. Mr. *** has to find the contractor who actually installed the humidifier.
