PLEASE NOTE: TheTechKnow Space from ** **** ****** ***** has filed for Bankrupcy and not sure why it was not an option, opened under new ownership "***** *********" which ****** presents the new location to be at 3* ******** *** * ***** *** Data Range: June 13 to present There is no money owed as the laptop is still not repaired, but I am willing to pay the "new" diagnostic fee ($90) to retrieve my laptop. The business initially committed to repairing my laptop within 8 days. The dispute revolves around the fact that I want my laptop back, am willing to pay for this 'diagnstic', but the individual is holding it now for ransom (now $429 for a diagnostic). I have made attempts to resolve the issue, but my attempts have been unsuccessful thus far, which is why I am reaching out to the Better Business Bureau. August 20/2022, Brought **** Laptop For Not Powering On; They Told Me Logic Board Needs Replacement; After Told Me Price $279.00 And Said They Would Install That And Everything Would Work And I Can Pick It Up And Check Everything; Today Is Over 1 Month; Their Policy Is To Get Diagnostics And Tell You Error And Cost For Repair Within 2 Days Maximum; It’s Over 1 Month And Now They Are Saying There Are Other Issues; They Said Software And Now Other Issues Regarding They Need To Do More Diagnostics After I Stated For Them Not To Do Any Repairs Or Replacements Because Now They Are Changing Their Story; I Went Today To Pick It Up, And Employee Named Ash Stated It Is In Pieces And I Cannot; I Called And Asked To Pick It Up Again And I Am Being Told I Can Only Speak With Ash About It; I Am Now Under The Impression That Normal Working Parts Are Being Taken By Employees There From My Laptop And Will Be Replaced With Non-Working Parts From Them As It Is Over 1 Month And They Still Keep Changing Story With What Is Wrong With It Saying They Need More Time For Diagnostics And Again After Me Telling Them Please Do Not Replace Or Repair Anything; I Want My Item Back In Whole Put Together With All The Manufacturer Pieces Assembled Properly Internally That Was Assembled When I Gave Them In The Beginning With The Charger For It That I Also Gave Them With No Repairs Or Replacing Parts Such as Them Taking Out Normal Functioning Components Such As The Hard Drive And Replacing It With What They Decide To Put In;
