I consigned artwork to Walkers and was strung along for a long time - told on numerous occasions it would be in the next auction. That day never came and now their website is gone, the phone apparently disconnected and multiple emails never received a response. I just want to get my artwork back and am willing to travel hundreds of miles to pick it up. Im not sure where to go from here.Review from Kent M

My family has dealt with Walkers auction countless times over the years. Thus we provided them with several pieces of art to be auctioned off, and then covid happened. It shut down the auctions. Anyhow I dropped by several times and had discussions with both ********************* and ********************* (president). We agreed to wait till after covid. So I stopped in and to my dismay I see that there doors are not open, their phone is no longer working, **** no longer answers his personal number and the emails are not going through. I now lodge this complaint as there were no efforts to contact me, nor inform me of their situation. I simply want the artwork back and find the situation inexcusable.Sincerely *********************Review from Marguerite L

Back in 2020 I brought an Inuit print to Walkers Fine **************************** Auction in ******. They appraised it at a value of between $1000, to $1500. I left it in consignment to be sold in an auction. Because of the pandemic, there were no live auctions but they were preparing for online auctions. Since then, I have been communicating with ********************* of Walkers Fine Art by email asking updates on the auctions and the selling of my print. Last communication was last Summer when I was told that they were forced to close their doors over a potential Covid-19 exposure and that they were just getting back to the office and starting to get back into the swing of things. They were planning on holding more online auctions. Since then, I've been trying to reach them but their phone numbers are out of service and when I send an email, it bounces back. I also tried to email the President ********************* but, again, the email bounces back. I would like to know what's going on and how can I retrieve my print. Thank you!
