I bought a lucky mobile pay as you go cellphone about 4 years ago at the Visions store in north Vancouver bc. I signed a pre authorized monthly top up payment form for $56 a month. It comes out of my *** **** account. In March , my phone was deactivated. The sim card chip is defected . it wont even turn on. So there is no phone service on it anymore. My bank account every month on the same date has a telephone bill payment taken out of my bank for $56. This shouldn't be happening to a deactivated cellphone. This is illegal. I phoned lucky mobile customer service and explained this. The woman was rude & argumentative. She said that they wouldn't take payment for a deactivated cellphone. I said . BUT YOU ARE doing it. she said I need proof from " transaction numbers "from these payments , in order for them to even look into it. I talked to MY BANK. They cannot see any transaction numbers for it. All it says is : Lucky mobile telephone bill payment . It looks like fraud. I can't get it to stop. I'm a single mom with disabilities & unemployed/. I've been hospitalized twice for cellulitis leg ulcer wound & lymphedema. I'm currently fighting a leg infection. This is very stressful for me, financially. I can't afford to be robbed $55 every month. I'm very stressed out and angry that they are doing this. How do I get them to stop billing me & ALSO, refund me all the MONEY that they have STOLEN from my bank account since MARCH ? It's now several hundred dollars they've taken. I purchased ONE 35$ top up manually on August 19th 2022 to lucky mobile at 8am came to a total of $39.55. Then another $39.55 they took out without permission on the 18tb at 12pm. I did not manually make this payment nor was it set up for automatic payments. So they literally went into my bank account and took out $39.55. what if I had not noticed? How many other people have they been double charging.
