DO. NOT. BOOK. THEY ARE A SCAM. I tried to book with Reliable movers and they subcontracted me to D2D movers with manager ***********. He quoted me over the phone $**** to move, plus storage (we had 10 days between house closing) and the second move would be an additional $**** he said he would store the contents of my house on site he never provided me with written quote despite asking for it twice. The movers showed up an hour and a half late. Took almost 8 hours to move my **** square foot house. Charged us over $700 for random items (bubble wrap, stairs fee, shrink wrap) and despite disclosing the amount of items (heavy items, dresser, gym equipment) they charged us additional fees for these which were not disclosed on quote. I asked where the main office was located so we knew where our stuff was going and the movers DIDNT KNOW. I called *** and he said it was going to a storage unit AN HOUR AND A HALF AWAY from our house. They charged us for mileage TO AND FROM the storage location. Our bill which was quoted at $3400 was $5200 and when arguing this to Dov, he told us that that was only for the ONE WAY. THAT WE WOULD HAVE TO PAY AGAIN WHEN THEY DROP OUR STUFF AT OUR NEW HOUSE!!! We threatened to call the police and notify CP24 of the scam and his attitude changed and offered the second move for free. He then attempted to change the date of our move in date to the following day. He said the movers would be there by 2pm, they arrived at 8:30pm with HALF OUR STUFF. They said they had to come back next day with the rest. The mover (who was fabulous) said *** told them to dump our things in the garage and not to move any of the heavy furniture. We had a missing 50 TV, $1000 Canada Goose jacket, the movers damaged our walls in our new home, broke our chandelier above our stairs. We will be reporting to the police, and a formal complaint has been filed to the BBB.

***********, the manager for Reliable Movers or D2D Movers is very shady and does not quote you the right amount when you ask multiple times for clarification on costs. On the day on the move, the movers showed up 1 hour late for the appointment- after I confirmed the time with them multiple times. By the end of the move, they said the job would be $4200 instead of the $1500 that was quoted. BUYER BEWARE THIS IS A SCAM. The movers were also unprofessional and complained about moving medium sized boxes. One of them also crossed a line by asking me out on a date. Inappropriate. We should be refunded.

Dov Bear Movers d2d which is a hire out company for Reliable Movers are dishonest. I have 2 pieces of large furniture that need to be moved from one floor of my house to another floor. I called Reliable Movers to obtain a quote there was no answer so I called the next moving company. Much to my surprise a young lady from Reliable called my # even though I didn't leave a message and stated she saw I called and is calling back.... that should have been my first clue. I spoke with her and she sent a contact a mover to take my bid and they texted me immediately. I received the text stating my assigned mover was Dov Bear and he then texted me, then called. I spoke with him, described the job in extreme detail right down to the # of stairs they would need to climb. I explained the furniture is solid wood and heavy and made sure he understood the full job he was quoting. He told me $55/hr, that it would take 2 men about ***** minutes to complete the move. I asked if they had straps to help carry bc I know the pieces are heavy, he stated the men would be fine and I booked the move. He said the movers would call hour before the move, they did and they told me they would be at my home in 1 hr and hung up. They then called back 10 seconds later and asked what they were moving, I explained in detail and they said they'd call me back. They called back 2 minutes later and ask how much $ I was quoted, I told them and they said he'd call me back, he did a minute later and told me there was a charge of $90 each way, plus $90/mover and a minimum of 2 hrs. I have no issue with paying the fees but I had asked the booking agent in all my communications what the full cost would be, he never disclosed the $90 each way and the movers fee was $55/mover/hour. Disappointing how when point blank asked what the full fee would be he wasn't truthful. Not my first time hiring movers and won't be the last but I'll make sure no one I know hires Reliable or Dov Bear moving. Shady... shady... shady,

These movers are dishonest!! Moved a basement to another. One bed one tv were the largest Items. Was told 310 over the phone. Job took less than 2 hours and the distance was 7 mins away. Was charged $940 and change!! Was told if I didnt pay they were taking my stuff! When I tried to make a payment plan I was called a liar!! This was one of the worst experiences I Habe ever had!! Im a single mom leaving an abusive relationship and I felt like I was being abused and used all over again!! The guys moving the stuff were great. The office guy was terrible. The way he spoke to me was so harsh and disrespectful. This experience has left me more traumatized than I was. Ive moved recently 8 months ago and paid $275. So to be told the price was triple was not expected and wasnt in my budget. I was told I was charged for stairs and bubble wrap for the tv. Guys be careful. This Was me being robbed. They left me me with no grocery money. And having to call a friend to borrow money. I cried the rest of the evening lost and not knowing what to do. Please get quotes in writing. But I dont recommend this business!

I sent you a message on May 19th explaining I did not book with you. I booked another mover at half the **** dollars that you charged me. There was no signage on you truck and no uniforms on your movers. The move was coming from my sister's and she just assumed the guys that showed up were from thd company I booked. You are a cheat and a liiar and I will report you to the police. Your guy didn't give me a receipt but I have a witness that I gave him **** in advance because they would not unload without it they said the could not get the sectional through the lane between my house and the neighbours house. I figured out how to do it and called minutes after they left. Driver said he would come back. I will also report you to the police.i have a witness thar your guy said he would come back. I also have proof that he blocked my number and when I called from a different phone, once he realised who I was he changed his accent.I called Dov Bear (manager or something) on speaker and and I have a witness that you laughed when I told you that. I will file a complaint with the police. Unscrupulous players like you deserve all you get.
