Additional business information
In May 2023, BBB initiated an investigation on Laymore Paving. The investigation was prompted by a consumer’s scam tracker report alleging the business offered a discounted price to pave the consumer's office but failed to provide clear details. After the workers dumped an unknown substance, the business demanded a significantly higher payment. The consumer refused and discovered the business had fake addresses. Legal action was taken, and the consumer warned others on social media.
Below are the findings of BBB's investigation on Laymore Paving:
•BBB checked the website (https://chancellorcenterforlaw.ca/) to determine when it was created and where it was registered. The website was created on March 2, 2023, and is registrant information is not disclosed.
•BBB sent an email to Laymore Paving asking for clarification of the following: Service area. Physical location and mailing address (if different). A brief description of the products or services your company offers. Any additional information that would enable BBB to better understand your business.
•BBB virtually visited the business listed location and found it to be a commercial building, which requires a unit number. With a unit number, BBB does not know where the business is physically located. BBB urges caution when choosing whether to do business with a company whose physical location is unknown.
Based on the information detailed above, BBB cannot confirm the legitimacy or business structure of Laymore Paving. We strongly encourage consumers to do their due diligence in verifying the business firsthand.

Despite an advertiser's best efforts to ascertain competitive prices, the rapidity with which prices fluctuate and the difficulty of determining prices of all sellers at all times preclude an absolute knowledge of the truth of unqualified underselling/lowest price claims.
12.1 Advertisers must have proper substantiation for all claims prior to dissemination.
12.2 Unqualified underselling claims must be avoided.
12.3 Advertisers can lessen the potential for consumer confusion by appropriate qualifications to any underselling/lowest price claim, such as by stating, if truthful, that the advertiser will meet or beat a lower price. In such circumstances, the advertiser must comply with Section 13.
As of today, the business has failed to substantiate, modify, or discontinue its claim.
