August 19 2022, made a deposit to purchase a new awning including installation at my home . Company in October 2022 stated they could install awning only if I would assist as they where short staffed (very heavy awning). Two employees arrived with a damaged awning, I refused installation ( brackets were fastened to my house) and they returned awning. No further response from Company until I contacted them in April 2023 and was informed salesman I dealt with no longer an employee. I requested a new awning as previous one was quite damaged, late April Two employees arrived with same damaged awning with only few adjustments, ie) new valance, with many of the damages still evident I only noticed after installation . Company was to send 3rd employee for install as I notified them of my inability to assist. Two employees attempted to transfer awning (20 ft x 13.5 ft) to my backyard deck, prior to third employee arriving, only to almost drop awning on my new deck and new railing, I instinctively assisted ,only to injure my neck and back and later required medical attention from my Chiropracter. Third employee arrived and awning installed , only to detach from my wall several days later. After complaints of safety , build out on wall installed, New awning requested again d/t exsisting damage. Despite continued contact from me they ignored any type of resolution. August 1, 2023 in contact with General Manager, agreed upon that she would rescind original bill between myself and salesman dated August 19/2022, provide limited repair to damaged awning at no further costs to myself. Follow up e-mail to capture agreement sent to General manager that day. An invoice dated April 21/2022 sent to me November 22/ 2023 , citing original purchase agreement and requesting full amount. Email from me sent to General Manager restating our agreement of August 1/2022, requesting contact from her to possibly resolve issues. Her reply was that she would contact me that afternoon, though General Manager has made no further contact to me.I have many pictures and e-mails that are too large to send you and limited computer skills to reformat same.
