To Whom It May Concern, I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding Canada Wide Parking and their handling of parking violations I received on July 25, 2024. I parked two cars in one of their lots and paid for parking for both vehicles. Despite this, I received two tickets claiming that I had not paid, issued at the exact time my payment was made through their app. Upon discovering the tickets, I attempted to contact Canada Wide Parking immediately via phone. Unfortunately, my call was not answered. I then sent an email to the company on July 25, 2024, detailing the situation and providing proof of payment. As of today, 8 days later, I have not received any response or acknowledgment of my email. Additionally, I left a voicemail following up on this matter and have yet to receive a call back. It is my understanding that Canada Wide Parking is required to maintain 24-hour customer service under their specific license. The lack of responsiveness from their customer service team is concerning and appears to be a failure to meet this obligation. Moreover, the tickets I received have a two-tier timing system where the payment amount increases if not paid within 15 days of issuance. Despite my multiple attempts to contact them and resolve this issue, the clock continues to run, potentially causing an unfair financial burden. * ** ********* * **** ** ** ******** ***** ********** ************ *** **** *********. I am writing to give an update about my complaint I submitted to you today regarding Canada Wide Parking. After I submitted my complaint to BBB, I decided to try to call the company 3 more times in a row using different numbers listed and trying different selections on their menu. I, finally, got through by pushing the "trouble with the meter" option (No.1). Someone answered. My infractions have not yet received a response regarding the dispute itself, and I was informed that while a dispute is open the "time clock" I referenced in my complaint is paused. I requested for that information to be sent to me in writing and I have now received that information in writing (via email). This is not information that I received previously. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused you. We have an high volume of calls and emails therefore it does take longer for us to respond.
we received your email on July 25th, my coworker **** investigated and emailed you on August 2nd that both tickets have been canceled. At the time the patroller scanned the plate numbers the payments had not yet been posted.

Canada Wide Parking letter dated November 29, 2023 referenced a plate number of a vehicle I have been driving. Placed on vehicle at **** ***** ******, Toronto. Indicated account NOW ALLEGEDLY OWING is $390.00. YOU ARE HEREBY GIVEN NOTICE TO NOT PARK AT ANY CANADA WIDE PARKING LOCATIONS IN TORONTO OR SURROUNDING AREA. AS PRIVATE PROPERTY, I HAVE THE AUTHORITY AS TO WHO CAN PARK - PAYING CUSTOMERS ONLY. "Police will be contacted immediately, and you will be charged with trespassing on private property." ***** **** ** ****** ** **** ******, signed Gobi S******, Customer Service, email - ****@*****************.com, ###-###-####, ********* **** Seven tickets listed and numbered including 1 from 2019, one from 2022, and 5 from 2023, ranging from $60.00 down to $45.00. One location listed at *** ******** ****** **** (I am not even aware where this is). Ticket states "Patrollers cannot cancel notices, Please remit as follows". There is NO ability indicated on the ticket to DISPUTE the charge. One NOTICE AMOUNT indicated is $60.00, one $45.00. I am requesting duplicate copies of all alleged FAILURE TO PAY "tickets". First one from 2019-04-18 from ****. ******* **** *** ****** ********** ********** ** *** *** *** ******* ******** ******** ***** FINALLY, and perhaps most importantly I am requesting ALL RECORDS relating to the inspection and repairs of the parking machines at **** ***** ******. These machines are * ********* old and never work. Daily rate is $13.00. The customer parked vehicle on several occasions at the parking lot (received service) but failed to pay.
If customer was having issues with meter, had several other options to ensure payment.
As no payment made, received infraction, which remained unpaid. Customer never contacted our office about the infraction.
Received notice that account will be going to collections plus costs.
Customer can contact our office for the dates of infractions and to make payment arrangements.

I am rejecting this response because:The response has NOT addressed my concerns. One ticket indicates the wrong address. On one occasion because of the defective machines which continue to exist I paid $39.00, not $13.00, because I was unable to use the defective machine. I am AGAIN requesting copies of all my alleged outstanding parking violations and I am again requesting business records of the company to establish its repair record. The company has NO dispute resolution mechanism. *** ** *** ****
