But I thought I was protected—I had credit card insurance that I’d been paying for, for years. I was wrong. *** **** ****** *** **** ** *** My debt skyrocketed to $19,000, *** ** *** ****** I applied for CERB just to cover food and rent, only to receive a letter from CRA claiming I wasn’t eligible. They demanded I pay back $8,000 with interest. It didn’t matter that I met the criteria—no one listened. And then it got worse. Someone took out a fraudulent **** loan in my name, leaving me with a $40,000 debt. On top of that, the company I worked for stuck me with $16,000 in unpaid GST/HST. TLC truly transformed my life. I was overwhelmed by my mounting debt and the relentless interest that kept accumulating. Initially, I was anxious about reaching out to TLC. TLC came through for me more than I ever expected could happen. Toni and Vanessa pulled every punch for me to get the best settlement possible. Both Toni and Vanessa were very comforting, understanding and thorough throughout the entire process. I was not the easiest client and they were extremely patient and helped me organize everything I need. They saved me tens of thousands of dollars, got my monthly payments to a very affordable amount, as well as bought me time to start paying it. TLC Debt was honestly the answer to my prayers. With so many options wanting to help you, I just happened to pick the best one & that hasn't always happened in my case. Vanessa & Toni worked tirelessly for weeks to get me the best deal & I couldn't be happier. I had to much unsecured debt that there was no way that I could do it on my own. Through scammed investments, I got myself into a heap load of trouble. * *** ****** ******* ******** * ** ****** ****** *** ************* ***** * ***** ** ***** *** ** *** *** ****. In the end, Toni figured out that I saved myself over $1M in interest. TLC Debt and all of their employees that my wife and I dealt with were amazing we were struggling with our debt borrowing money from one creditor to pay another and vice versa the stress of not getting any further ahead but just digging ourselves deeper was causing a lot of conflict between us. Thanks to Toni and her wonderful group of employees who were amazing we see the light at the end of the tunnel now and a way out of this debt within 5 years that would of taken us a lifetime of paying interest and still not gotten out of it. My ex had a huge debt owned to many totalling over 15k and the constant stress of this debt lingered over his head for years. *** ******* ***** ** ***** *** ********* *********** ** *** **** *** ** **** *** ******* ******** *** ***** * **** ** ****** **** ***** **** ***** ***** **** ***** He had come across TLC debt help and with the wonderful help of Toni and Leanne he was able to consolidate all of it to a significant smaller amount. During this process they connected us to Dan who assisted with filing all his outstanding tax submissions. He can now start fresh, new year new beginnings. This is all thx to the amazing team at TLC if it wasn’t for them we don’t know what we would have done. They have also extended help with looking for car financing and a future home down payment when the time is right.
