On Nov 6 my vehicle went into Western Auto body for cosmetic work. I picked the vehicle on Dec 5. On Dec 8 I noticed that when I hold the fob and try and open the drivers door. The door just beeps and won’t open. I took it into ****** **** ******* and they told me that the censor had been disconnected. They told me it was not covered under warranty as Western Auto Body had worked on the vehicle. Western Auto body said they would not cover the cost as I should have brought it back to them not ****** **** *******. I told them I’m not a mechanic. How would I know u disabled the censor all you were doing was cosmetic work on the vehicle. How am I responsible for for your employees error by re-enabling the censor that should have been done before you gave the vehicle back. Western Auto body should made sure everything was working properly.Customer response
