My mother does not speak english. So i called to translate for her. She needs a debit card since they never sent her one.They could not verify her since the text system was not working on their end. Come to find out they do not have any spanish speaking customer service representatives, which is not very professional on their end. And to top it off the lady was very rude and didnt seem to care or help out at all. I asked to be transferred to a supervisor which they also could not or would not provide for this situation. Overall a very bad experience. I would not recommend this place at all.Review from Mary O

My parents have dementia and I as their power of attorney am unable to access their account because of having mistakenly tried a wrong password too many times. Now there is a credit line opened on their account and I can't get any information, despite being their power of attorney. I so regret not changing their bank. No Customer Loyalty With Branch Staff member ******* whom stated "that's how it is" & Branch Manager ******** whom stated "by law they are not required to notify a customer of an levy notice to an account". Both of this persons are members of the ********************** No apology was offered for the after, the fact mailed notice. ******** stated, "10 days is listed on the notice", it was not, & that "the action took place next day upon order", "that no advancement of action date was given to notify the customer". But the notice I received had one date, the levy another date. In fact ******** attempted to argue she had no control over the mailroom & that my problem was with the entity & that she is not an attorney.NO CUSTOMER LOYALTY!! As to more personalized customer service/to improve the financial wellbeing of our members and the communities we serve. It's the people who make a difference in our communities mission statement. Or strengthen communities and protect consumers by ensuring equitable financial inclusion through a robust, safe, sound and evolving credit union systems.Global Federal Credit Union, LLC Response

Im sorry to say after being with the credit union over 10 years Im so disappointed in their actions to NOT honor my credit card payment that was $44 and I only had $35.35 in the checking account and money in my savings regardless it shouldve been honored Im done being done with no customer appreciation with these banks while they mess up peoples name and credit. I cant get them to give me a loan or even refinance my vehicle I wouldnt recommend them to no one BLACK!Global Federal Credit Union, LLC Response

I have an auto loan through them. I noticed that I was being overcharged (the amount paid did not accurately reflect the amount left on the loan) I called them. Broke down the numbers for them to which they confirmed. (They broke down the numbers and told me I was correct, no attempts were even made to rectify the situation just yeah idk why thats happening) Absolutely no help. This bank knows that scammers are currently using their system to scam their customers because it's easy to do - there's very little account security. They care about nothing but collecting the money from the victims. They do not even care if the police are involved. They take NO accountability for their poor security at all. I have been a member with Alaska *** since late 90s never an issue always smooth service and staff knowledgable until Global took over. Worst wire department service and fraud department worthless and customer service never knows anything. Will be closing all my accounts soon trust goes both ways as well appreciation and honorability which Global FCU does not what it is. Forget receiving follow up calls or any communication from them but to lock or restrict your account you find out next time you try to log in or go to to the branch.Review from Michael I

This is the worst bank in the state of Alaska after trying to get an auto loan for over 2 weeks and no one knowing anything about anything I was finally denied because they didn't know what type of vehicle it was. I had told them it was box truck. After 10 visits they finally told me I was denied. I was approved for 20k and the truck was worth 20k. I only needed 12k. I am closing all 3 of my accounts soon and I suggest you do tooGlobal Federal Credit Union, LLC Response

My father pasted away recently and since then i have been helping with his affairs.with no help from this credit union. Payment amounts change per teller. We have made three payments each time taking over 3 hours each time then at the end of the calls (This has happened more than once) the payment goes back the normal payment amount. they have no support for her to get online access due to insufficient paper work but they found it to be enough to charge my fathers debt to her and want her to sign the paper work after they transferred the account.
