Mr ******************** hope this email finds you doing well. I have reviewed the BBB complaint you filed. I have also reviewed the contracts that you signed and executed with NSR. I have also been forwarded the text messages that you sent to our NSR scout and her responses to you. Our NSR staff has reviewed your daughters NSR profile and noted that there is 23 pages of college coaches searching and viewing her profile.
Mr ******* I also see, in the BBB complaint, that you stated that you no longer needed the NSR services. You also stated in the text messages to the NSR scout that your daughter had decided to go in a different direction. Please see the attached contracts you executed along with the screenshots of your text communication with our NSR scout. This way there is no misunderstanding as to what has transpired thus far.
Once you review the legal, binding agreements you signed and executed, you will note that there is no mention of refunds or any form of cancellation past the 3 day right to cancel. As you will note, you are almost one year past that cancellation period. Next, you will note that NSR has been executing the agreements over this period and it has generated recruiting activity at a high level of interest from colleges.
The work for your daughter has been an ongoing effort and the results can not be disputed. The fact that your daughter has chosen to go in another direction, does not and will not be a reason for a refund. In fact, the remaining balance due on the legal , binding agreement that you willingly executed is expected to be paid as you agreed.
I ask that you have no further threatening text or email communication with Ms ***** your NSR scout. I will also reply to your BBB complaint with all of the facts and information that I have included here for you. This will only confirm your breach of contract with NSR. This way as people do their BBB research on our A+ rated organization, they can see that we reply to complaints with the facts and reality of situations. Should you choose to withdraw your complaint , please let me know as I will handle the BBB accordingly.
Again, I understand your daughter may have chosen a different direction. I wish her the very best in her life and her journey. Unfortunately, her changing directions will not relieve the contractual agreements entered between you and NSR. There will not be any refund granted because of the significant amount of work that has been done on your daughters behalf for her recruiting. We also expect the remaining balance to be paid as agreed.
This above email was sent to Mr ****** along with all supporting legal documents to confirm the position of NSR.Initial Complaint

*********************** which is the regional director in Indiana. He was. Very pushy about signing my two boys up. He came to my house and we agree to give this a chance. He took our info and started charging without ever giving us a copy of the contract. The contract had a bunch of markings and edits- I dont know what he did . After he came to our house I didnt hear from him for almost a month until I reached out. I told him I no longer wanted his service. He said he wont cancel even though he has not done anything for our boys. He is a liar and a con artist. I have called my credit card company but he still is charging our card. DONT EVER USE THIS COMPANYBusiness response

We signed my daughter up for recruiting services in December of 2022, because she was injured and looking to still be recruited to cheer in college. The cost to us was around $2000. The promise was they were selective in the recruits they sign, and 100% of their recruits gets recruited, and 95% get some sort of scholarship to help with the cost. Basically we were told the service would pay for itself in the long run. My daughter did not even get one serious school interested in her. I had reached out to her recruiter several times expressing my concern as colleges she was interested in were not getting back to her, but announcing signed recruits, were were not getting any traffic onto her NSR profile and no schools had any sort of communication with ** to express interest in recruiting after initial contact and the video tryout deadline to receive an invidtatiin for tryouts for the schools she had applied but not been recruited to using NSRs recruiting services was rapidly approaching, but was only given a generic she could still be recruited and an offer for an additional promotional email that would have went out 2 weeks after that communication and days before the deadline. I told the recruiter she was putting down a deposit to her backup school in NY because we were to the point where she would not have any options if she waited any longer and let that deadline pass. His response was to blame the injury he knew about before signing her and taking our money. There was zero effort to get her recruited, and she did not get recruited, and I feel he prayed on an injured seniors desire to not let go of her dream to cheer in college. I reached out to corporate and got no response, of course, so Im filing this complaint in hopes of a refund, since we literally didnt get any of the services promised.Business response

At this point, Im not aware of any phone calls or emails received from this client by our corporate office. Im only aware of the complaint as a result of the client filing this complaint.
After reviewing the athlete NSR recruiting activity and talking with the NSR scout involved I have the following suggestions and statements. First, there will not be a refund given because of the work that has been done thus far and the contract is still in place and is being executed according to the agreement signed by the client. Next, the athlete has 11 pages of recruiting activity where college coaches have searched, viewed or requested information for the athlete. The promotional items have been and are being done. The athlete HAS NOT responded to many of those college coaches in her NSR recruiting activity. In fact, it appears that none of them were contacted by the athlete after NSR generated the interest. Again, these are easily seen in the NSR athletes portal. This isnt a we feel situation. This is a clear case of NSR doing as we contracted to do and the athlete seemingly not pursuing the colleges that have shown interest in her skills. I suggest the athlete engaging in the process with the dozens of colleges that have searched, viewed or requested nor information about the athlete. This is clearly seen in the NSR portal of the athlete.

I am rejecting this response because: NSR did NOT get my daughter recruited. I didnt pay for access to a website, I paid for access to resources, and a recruiter, that would get my daughter recruited to cheer in college. Their reply failed to mention that in the *************************************************************** mass emails sent out by NSR that generated no results. They also completely skimmed over the fact that our recruiter was absent and not doing his job for weeks at a time. At a very critical time I reached out directly to him multiple times and it took 2 weeks for him to come up with a solution to the problem which was to send out another promotional email that generated zero interest and went out to college coaches after the majority had passed their video submission tryout time period. The recruiter bragged about their 100% success rate, yet here is my daughter, who did indeed reach out to every single program that view her profile or sent an email and the college offered her major (because this is the point of college after all) and not one coach was interested in her. Most didnt reply at all, and the ones that did were not interested once they found out about her injury, which NSR was well aware of when they signed her, yet was also used against her by her recruiter as the reason he didnt get her recruited.
NSR took advantage of my injured child to make $2000 and did NOT provide any resources that actually got colleges interested in recruiting her. Their website did not get her recruited.
Sincerely,

We signed up with this recruiting company in June of 2022. We made the initial deposit and set up a payment plan for monthly payments. The recruiter that we were working with was named *************************. She set us up with two college visits for my daughter, for basketball. No scholarship offers were made by the two schools and ****** said would set up some additional visits. Several months went by and we heard nothing from ******. We finally reached out and she stated that she no longer worked for National Scouting Report recruiting. I asked why we were not informed, and she stated that NSR should have reached out and she Coult not say much because she was filing a lawsuit against NSR. We tried calling NSR. We left messages. We sent an email requesting a refund due to NSR not contacting us about our recruiter not working there no longer and about the lack of effort of the company to fulfill their contract. NSR emailed us yesterday and said our account is being sent collections. We paid thousands of dollars for two visits and a flyer. That is not what was promised. NSR failed to contact us after our recruiter was either fired or quit. We went months without any activity whatsoever. I have receipts and all of the email and text correspondence as proof that we paid, and that we paid on time. Our payments were autodrafted, they came straight out of our bank account. Once we learned that our recruiter no longer was employed at NSR we reached out with no response. I cancelled my debit card shortly after to prevent any future payments from coming out of my bank account. We paid thousands of dollars for absolutely nothing, and to top it off they threatened to send our account collections. Please help!!!Business response

The following was sent via email after ***************** took my call and chose not to call me back to discuss.
Chip
I sincerely hope and pray this message finds you and your family doing very well. I also hope things continue to be positive for *****.
You and I spoke briefly at 11 am central time this morning. You indicated you were driving and would call me back in about 15 or 20 minutes. I realize that you own and operate your own lawncare business so I can imagine that you simply got busy and didnt have time. So, I will try my best to address your BBB complaint here in this email before I file my response to the BBB with a statement of actual facts and evidence.
You enrolled ***** with NSR on June 9, 2022. We have the signed documents as do you. You initially paid $1200 on that day and then an additional $1350 on June 20, 2022 as agreed. Then for the months of July 2022, August 2022, Sept 2022, Oct 2022 and Nov 2022 you had a monthly report payment of $135 deducted or paid from your card on file. Those payments were applied to your balance. This left a remaining balance of $270 due on the account. Your card was declined in Dec 2022 and again in Jan 2022. The NSR office sent you an email asking you to contact ********************* or reply in order to rectify the card issue. After no email reply OR phone call was received by our office from you, the NSR profile for ***** was placed On Hold and no longer available due to a balance due. You then received an email that stated the balance was due and the account would be turned over to collections if payment wasnt received. It appears you then replied to our office with your dissatisfaction and then you chose to write a statement and file your complaint to the BBB without having a conversation with NSR. As a business owner and a man of faith, ** somewhat surprised that you chose to do that without having a verbal conversation in order to bear out the facts about this situation and not the assumptions or non facts.
So now I will address the statement you made to the BBB. In the NSR contract, it makes it explicitly clear what the NSR services will do for our clients and it also makes it clear that NSR has the option to replace a scout when and if needed. So, you stated that ************************* set ********** visits for *****. While that was kind of ****** to do, IT IS NOT A PART OF ANY SERVICE OR PROMOTION that is a part of the NSR contract you signed. Please refer back to your NSR platinum agreement for your own verification of this fact. So, that issue is between you and ****** personally if she told you she would help set up visits.
Next, it appears that ****** communicated with you and you with her prior to the end of 2022 and she indicated she was no longer a part of NSR. ***** received a text message from her newly assigned scout on Jan 11, 2023 and the new scout assigned to her , Coach *******************, also called leaving voicemails. No one replied to ****** attempts to contact yall.
Then when you received the email in Feb or March of 2023 concerning the NSR account going to collections over the $270 balance , you then then emailed our office with your dissatisfaction and filed your BBB complaint. For clarity, NSR doesnt have any record of you calling our NSR office and speaking to our staff or leaving a message with us about your concerns.
According to your complaint, you talked with ******. Please feel free to clarify the timeline on your conversation with her. My understanding is that you and ****** spoke about her leaving NSR prior to the end of 2022. Is that correct? Also, for clarification, you are stating in your complaint that ****** told you that she is suing NSR? Im asking those two things to better understand because there is no lawsuit from her and there seems to be some slander and libel going on here.
Your complaint states that you paid thousands of dollars for two visits and a flyer. Obviously, by that statement alone, I know that you have not looked at the recruiting activity section of Jaceys NSR portal. I will give you a brief overview of the massive amount of work that NSR has done thus far and was continuing to do after ****** was no longer a part of NSR.
Work and activities performed as per the NSR agreement thus far
15 pages of recruiting activity in the NSR profile for ***** beginning on 6-13-2022
June 28, 2022- two video edits performed by NSR and video uploaded to ****** profile
July 5, 2022- NSR signing promo where 367 college basketball programs were personally emailed about ***** and introduced to her
July 12, 2022- NSR sends out a Regional Promo for ***** and she has a personal email sent out to 384 college basketball programs and coaches
Monthly beginning July 22 and every month ************* Exposure promo was sent out to EVERY college basketball program in the country, over **** schools, where ****** NSR profile was promoted to the college!! Every month!!
From June 2022 to Feb 11, 2023 over 150 college programs inquired, searched , viewed etc ****** NSR profile.
That is a brief description of the factual and documented history of the activities that NSR performed for ***** until the profile was put on hold due to non payment.
You stated in your BBB complaint that We went months without any activity whatsoever. So, please understand my overall concern about your BBB complaint after I have pointed out the ***** and a timeline of the truth and reality of the circumstances.
Chip, you are welcome to call me after you read this email and Im happy to discuss further. But after my surface level research on this matter, it is painfully clear that you are not correct in your complaint nor is the complaint valid. The NSR contract was being executed completely by NSR until you chose to stop paying. The balance of $270 is due. Once you pay it, NSR will happily turn her profile back on and continue promoting her in basketball. But I also know she has received offers to compete in college for track and field AND there were coaches in basketball trying to connect for offers as well. Knowing these fact, it also could lead one to believe you chose to stop paying NSR because she ready has offers and you deem it no longer necessary to promote her to colleges. If that is accurate, it doesnt negate the original agreement and the balance still remains due.
Again, Im looking forward to hearing back from you today. If I dont hear from you by phone, text or email today, I will respond to the BBB with the above statement of facts and put this to rest.-
