Within 30 days of my mother's death in April 2022, we received our first mailing from Birmingham Homebuyers about using their services to sell her property. Now we have received a second mailing and she has only been dead two months. By any standard this is ghoulish at best and like a vampire at worst. They are bragging about BBB accreditation. I just thought you should know your approved company is engaging in the worst type of behavior trying to take advantage of a family when they are most vulnerable. Both of my brothers have told me they have received contact from them as well. I just don't want to hear from them again. It would be great if they would remove all of the ****** contacts from mailing and robocalls/marketing telephone calls.Business response

Dear Mr. and Mrs. *******,
First of all, let me say with deep regret that I am sorry for intruding on you and your family during your time of mourning for your mother. We had no idea of the timing of our postcard. We use a 3rd party company to provide us with public records data, that we supply to a mail house. I will take immediate action to change our procedures with this data provider. Furthermore, I will make the needed changes to remove you from future mailings. I have already contacted our mail house but they informed me a batch was sent to the post office on June 17th.
I hope you will accept this apology and know that we meant no ill will or harm to you and your family. I commend you for acknowledging this travesty to us so that we may make changes to avoid causing any other families the same pain.
