The playground equipment is installed. The steps are not placed correctly. They are angled upward which makes it a fall hazard. The rail on the steps is also loose. The tiles that were replaced are placed with plenty of trip hazards. I paid most of what was asked, except the last portion that was to cover the replacement tiles. These tiles were never provided. I called and sent pictures. They stated in a couple of weeks they would take care of the problem. Now they want to forget the last amount owed and leave things are they are. This is a huge safety issue due to children playing in our play area. I have called the front office, sent pictures, and have had consults with the sales person, *******.

      Business response

      10/27/2022

Good afternoon.  I appreciate the opportunity to relay information to you concerning the structure and the tiles sold to **************. I apologize to ************** for the trouble she has encountered.  The structure has been delivered and set up but the wrong stairs were placed on the delivery trailer.  We have the correct stairs that will be taken to ************** on or around November 2, 2022. These will be set up and this will correct any irregularaties on the structure.  The stairs would have been switched out immediately but there has been an issue with the surrounding tiles.
The independent contractor, *************************, had placed 27 tiles on her contract to be replaced when the structure was completed.  He was supposed to find an exact match to the ones that were already in place.  He had been trying before the structure was brought but could not confirm where the tiles had been purchased. He had concerns about trying to match the tiles being replaced with the ones she wanted to use instead of replacing all of them.  ************** was also trying to find which company she had purchased from but had not been able to do so.  ************** then decided, with **************, to come set up the playground structure from Playtime.  He was going to look at the tiles to see if he could find any company name on them or underneath them. He could find no information.
After leaving, he had been in contact with her about the tiles.  He had also been speaking with our manufacturing manager concerning the tiles. At the present, ************** has spoken with ************** and the 27 tiles have been ordered. They should arrive at her center on approximately November 2,2022.  She will contact him upon their arrival and he will go immediately and change out the stairs as well as the 27 tiles she deems the most important to replace.
Thank you for your time with this matter.  We hope this will resolve any concerns ************* has with ************** and our company. We will continue to follow through with ************** since we are waiting at this time for the delivery of the tiles.

      Better Business Bureau:

Although I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.  The problem still exists. The solution is in the future.  I am hoping that it will be resolved as stated.  ******* has reached out to me on two different occasions.  He is stating that the tiles delivery is still the issue.  I understand that this could be the case.  Since Covid, receiving deliveries and items have been a real issue.  As long as the communication is open, and the company plans to follow through I will be satisfied with this resolution.

      Sincerely,

      *****************************
