This company collected payment in full and perform no services. I requested a refund in full, because no services were rendered. It has been almost 2 years with constant contact and they still have not returned any of my payment. I spoke with **** ****** with the promise to write motion and reply to any court proceedings other than an appeal. It pays for the paralegals that write the motion and the attorney that we use to review the motion. After paying the $2500 fee there was no contact from American Leading Edge Research Team. 30 days later I reached out to **** and she told me to call *****. In that moment I knew something was wrong because I should not I have to reach out to anyone. I reach out to another lawyer that told me that they were a group of disbarred lawyers that were taking people money by writing useless briefs. I am currently working with my credit card company to get a refund. When I went to make a copy of the contract it had been deleted. https://americanleadingedgeresearchteam.com/ it

I am the customer service director for the company that Ms ********* is filing this complaint towards.  I am also the same Shawn she was instructed to call and never did.  This matter is very simple.  **** ****** is an analyst here with the company.  Once a case is evaluated and the contract is signed and paid for all issues from that point on come to me.  This is no different than any other company on earth.  If a client has a concern or a question they reach out to customer service.  Ms ********* was instructed to do so, and by her own admission in this complaint she did not try to contact me and instead was content to just simply "know something wasn't right".   That is hardly fair and very frustrating for us since we were never given the chance to satisfy this customer.

Ms ********* signed a contract with us and paid her fee in full during the 2nd half of June of this year.  On June 23rd we mailed the client a Welcome Packet, which is our standard procedure.  It contains questionnaires that are helpful to us when writing the motions and briefs for clients.  it was delivered to the prison according to USPS and it was NEVER returned to us by the client.  We proceeded with the motion we were hired to do regardless.  These motions typically take 2 weeks to 2 months to complete, depending on the complexity of the case and company workload.  On July 18th, Ms ********* filed a charge back on her payment with her credit card company.  Having no reason at all to do so, she violated the signed contract she had with us simply because she was unwilling to reach out to me.  Let it be noted that we also did a response with the credit card company having explained this along with a copy of her contact and the credit card company sided with us and refunded her payment to us on August 22nd.

As to her complaint that she did not hear from us, there is no expectation set that the client will hear from us while the work is being done unless we need something.   It is also policy to wait 30 days after the welcome packets are mailed out to follow up with the client (to give them time to receive it, fill it out and mail it back) and Ms ********* did not even allow that amount of time before filing for a refund with her credit card.  Also, in the case of a charge back such as this one, all work is ceased immediately until the matter is resolved.  Since the issue has been resolved in our favor work has begun again on the motion we were hired to do.  Even though she is in breach of contract and we are not obligated to do so.  We are doing it anyway.

Finally to the notion that some random lawyer somewhere told her we were a team of dried up lawyers who scam people...I would like that lawyers contact information.  We know as much about him as he apparently does about us: nothing.  There is not a single disbarred or dried up anyone at this company.  We have written and won more motions for clients than I am assuming that lawyer, whoever he is, has even seen in his entire career.  Ms ********* should be warned that the only lawyer that would tell her such a thing is probably a con-man himself and simply wants her to hire him so he can pass the work off to an intern to get completed at a mediocre level.  But regardless, we cannot be held responsible for lies that a supposed someone may or may not have said.

Let it be know that after the initial charge back on her credit card both myself and ****  (her original contact) tried to get in touch with her regarding this to see what the problem was.  Neither of us succeeded.  Our calls and emails were ignored and never returned.  I checked the email and phone log and Ms ********* never once tried to reach me for service after **** informed her I was the person she needed to speak to.  It is Ms ********* who is breach of contract here, not us.

I would request that this complaint be closed and removed.

I am rejecting this response because. I did not receive a  welcome packet, no no phone call or no emails I texted **** and she told me to reach out to Shawn, but why am I reaching out to you instead of you contacting me to provide the service .

Since no service were rendered I simply want my money back.
