Beginning February 15, 2022, I spoke to ***** and Manager, ************ paid $120.00 for a 5yr subscription to ************* confirmation code #******, as of today October 24, 2023, I have not received a single magazine, I did however, receive a folding Realtree handsaw worth a maximum of $15.00 for my $120.00 subscription fee, I called and spoke to a rude lady that seemed uphalled that I was calling wanting the magazines I paid for to confirm that they had my correct address on file for sending the magazine, they confirmed the correct address, then preceeded to tell me that paper for printing the magazine was not available due to COVID and when it became available, I would receive my back issues, at least a year has gone by since that call and to date, all I have received was a folding hand saw.I Googled my problem to see if others had similar problems with Buckmasters and there were many others getting ripped off the same as myself. At this point, as much as I loved receiving the magazine and reading it in the past, I wouldn't recommend their products to anyone, they can keep their magazine at this point, I want the money back that I paid for a 5yr subscription and have not received 1 single magazine since renewal.

I've been a life member with Buckmasters for over 20 plus years. For over 1 1/2 years I haven't received any of my subscription magazines that I'm supposed to get. I emailed multiple times, put on ********* and called them several time about it. Most of the times when you call, you get nobody but, the 3rd time I called I talked to a person and they took my information down and said that they mailed me a letter to see "if I was still alive" so that they weren't sending magazines for nothing. They were supposed to reinstate my subscription and start receiving the magazines. I contact them early summer and still today over 6 months haven't received a magazine other than a year old complimentary magazine. What a joke! Seems to me now they are scamming people for their money. Life members doesn't mean 20 years and stop!

In September of 2021, I was contacted about Buckmaster magazine sales, so i purchases a 12 monrh subscription. I received 1 magazine about 3 weeks after ordering, and 3 months later i still had not received any additional magazines. I called back again, a lady apologized and stated she would have them sent out right of way. To this day, i never received the "gift package" or any other magazine besides the first sent at the end of September 2021. I called them at the first week of April, and requested a refund. It has not been refunded, nor have i been contacted. I have reached out to the NC attorney generals office , and they took all the information to file a claim, for fraud. I am contacting you to get some closure on my behalf. The N.C.A.G.,s office will file their own action.

I'm January 2021, I filled out a survey for a chance to win a free hunting trip through Buckmasters. I then received a phone call asking me about my hunting season and the types of products they sell. They asked if I wanted to subscribe and I told them I did not have the money at the time and I am unsure. They told me that they would send me a paper in the mail that I could send back if I decided I wanted to subscribe. About a month later I received a bill for 136 dollars for the subscription. I did not pay it and will not be paying for any subscription or merchandise from Buckmasters. I'm not answering anymore phone calls. I then started to receive magazines in the mail from the company. The only information they have is my name, phone number, and address. I want off of there phone call list and to not receive any more magazines or mail from them.

According to the sales recording Ms. ********** agreed to be billed for the five year subscription Jan. 11, 2022. However, the account was canceled per her call in request April 11, 2022 and has a zero balance due.

Phone number ************ has been added to the internal no call list and any materials received may be disregarded.

In August of 2021, they pressured me into a 6 month subscription of which I emailed a cancelation email the SAME DAY as the email to start the subscription. They said that they would bill me later after the first magazine was received but the confirmation email WAS THE BILL! They just blatantly charged me $150 before any type of magazine or product had been received. I emailed *****@buckmasters.com back and said that I wanted to cancel. A month later I get incessant calls (4-5 a day) every day and they keep sending me mounds of "past due" bills. I never wanted the service and I sent the cancelation email to them. I got a call today (2/15) and finally answered for the person to basically accuse me of not paying the bill or dodging them in some way and saying that they had sent me all these things (magazines, hats, knife, etc.) but that is a complete lie. I never received one thing from them other than a bill or something saying to take immediate action and send them money. They call all hours of the day (never leaving voicemails saying why they are calling) and just keep calling and calling and sending bill after bill. I have had enough! Please stop harassing me! I am an engineer for the defense industry and I do not have time to worry about these people calling me just to gripe about something that I had canceled and even so, how about leaving a voicemail to gently describe why you are calling instead of calling and just hanging up and then calling again a couple hours later. Your company and your team need serious work and serious attitude adjustments. I want my name out of their system in every facet. I want any money that they have taken from me returned back to me and I want them to stop calling me and harassing me.

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/02/17) */ Based on the original sales recording, the Buckmasters employees asked if Mr. **** would like to subscribe. Mr. **** agreed to purchase with both the sales agent and separate verifier. *****@buckmasters.com is not a valid email address and I could not find it listed on any billing. Several magazines and bills were sent to the original address in Alabaster which was confirmed at the time of the call. The address listed on the complaint is different and may be the reason no mail was received. No monies were paid to Buckmasters from Mr. **** and the account was canceled per his request on 2/15/22. There is a zero balance due. I have requested Mr. ****'s number be added to the internal no call list.
