Purchased an item through the Shop App for $47.99 plus $11.55 for shipping on 1/2/2024. Received an email making the statement that the item was now $64.99. That was it. Nothing further. Replied and asked what the email was about and received a subsequent reply asking me to pay an additional $17 for the item. When I let them know they needed to honor the sale they cancelled the sale and refunded my money. They took a week to do this. Told me it was an inventory problem and the prices went up and when I wouldnt pay they cancelled the order. Im seeking the sale to be complete as agreed at that sale is a contract legally. Important to note it was not a pricing error. It was a correct price at the time of sale.Business response

I acknowledge ************************ complaint. However, his version of events is not exactly correct. ******************** ordered a set of darts that is out of stock and apparently has been out of stock for a while. Unfortunately, the website showed one set was available, which was not correct, and allowed the order to be completed. The price of the darts was $47.99 (plus shipping). I explained to ******************** that I can fill his order, but there would be a new price when I re-ordered the darts from my supplier, due to a manufacturer's price increase. The new price would be $64.99. ******************** wanted the darts at the original price, which I repeatedly explained was not possible because they are not in stock and there was a manufacturer's price increase. If I had the darts in stock, the price of $47.99 would absolutely have been honored, however, the darts are not in stock. The issue in this case is not an inventory issue, it is the fact that ******************** wants an outdated price to be accepted (the wholesale price is now more than the originally listed price, hence the price increase). I continued to explain that I could fill ************************ order, but refunded his money after he made threatening comments. ************************ threatening comments and his decision not to accept the updated price are the reasons his order was cancelled and his money was refunded.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because:its 100% accurate. The business system allowed me to make the order and pay for it. Thats a business problem. When I completed the order, if they didnt have the product, they should have had their inventory up to date.
I have also made zero threatening comments. Just stating the facts.
