On September 16, 2023 I purchased a 2020 ***** Equinox from All American Ford. I traded a paid off 2011 ***** Traverse and paid $500 in cash down. The car wasnt the car I asked for they switched from the **** edge and put me into this equinox. On Sept 28th the car cut off while the was driving. I had the car towed to the dealership they said it was the fuel pump and that they replaced it . During this time they wouldnt even give me a loaner car to get to work. I got the car back a week later. 2 days after getting the car back it broke down to m me again at the store. I had the car towed to the dealership again this time they gave me a loaner and said they drove my car for days with no problem. I get the car back after they so call drove it for a week and the car broke down on me the next day while getting on the highway. I had it towed to my home because they were closed. They are now saying that I am on my own with getting this vehicle in working condition.Business response

Ms. **** stated that the equinox she purchased on 9/16/2023 was shutting down on its own. My technician diagnosed the problem to be the fuel pump. I decided to replace the pump at no cost to the customer out of goodwill, despite the customer not having purchased a warranty. We put the customer in a loaner vehicle and proceeded to drive the vehicle off and on for a couple of days just to make sure the problem did not persist. Ms. **** called in a couple of days after taking delivery complaining that the vehicle had shut down again, so we advised her to take it to the nearest GM dealership to get it diagnosed and we stated we would cover the diagnosis fee. We were very accommodating throughout this ordeal. We will still be happy to pay for the diagnostic fee from her nearest GM dealer but we were not able to find any problems with the vehicle.
