They miss our trash every other week. When I call about it, they say they will send someone out, but rarely do they come. The one time someone did come the next day after missing the trash, they drove through our residential neighborhood at nearly 40mph blaring their **** break on their truck purposefully. This company is terrible to deal with. Stay far away.Review from Shelby M

Every week they forget to get our trash. Then when we call they say sorry we will send someone and never do. The ladies that work their are clueless and couldn't care less about your situation. Yet they have no problem pulling that money out of my account. Worst garbage company I've ever seen!Review from Marianne W

Amwaste has not picked up our trash for almost 4 weeks now. I have called three different times and have been promised that a work order has been sent. Still no trash pick up. I waited for 27 minutes on one phone call, 19 minutes on the 2nd call and about 10 minutes on the third call. I sent an email to "customer care" and have had no response at all. We have done business with Amwaste over the years at different rental and construction projects, but it seems that there has been a serious change in management recently and it is terribly frustrating. I will not be paying this month's bill as I have had no service.Review from John P

Horrible service and consistent missed garbage pickups for my entire neighborhood of 25+ homes in **********, **. They take our money but dont deliver service. No accountability. My trash has not been picked up in over a week and this is the 6th missed pick up in 12 weeks. There is trash all over our neighborhood.Review from John S

Paid late on purpose. Apparently they can't take what they dish out. I paid my bill late in October. It was paid on the 29th. I refuse to pay a late fee in the amount of two months service $50.00 for paying it 9 days late.Ours and everyone else on our road had garage setting out all *************** was our day and sometimes they would get it by Friday. The weekprior to Labor day bo one on our road ***********. Important week to miss! We also live in an area highy populated with coyotes and raccoons. This also is an area with no leash laws so dogs everywhere. This compay has been so difficult to deal with from day one. Apparently they don't care considering the complaints on here. Each time this company replies they blame the customer. I do feel bad for the driver our road isn't easy and I saw someone get road rage with him one day. That said when he accidentally hit my mailbox and post destroying it. The company did try and cover it up. I had a neighbor witness it the were behind him. I am also saying the driver of the truck reported it as well!!! They have some good employees however this business is not honest. I feel sure their response to this will be full of fire. I also feel sure it will not reflect a company that wants all their customers much less care how they react. I mean their bad service has been all over the news in areas that are more populatedAmwaste Response

HORRIBLE!! TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND SERVICE! Went three weeks without picking up my trash with no reason as to why! My bill was paid and trash can properly placed by the road and still trash was not picked up and they gave a different reason everytime i called or no reason at all!!!!! and no offer to adjust my bill!Amwaste Response

They threw garbage in my yard saying they won't take a certain type of trash. Well you didn't find it in the hard put it back where it was. Amwaste is complete trash jefferson county needs to do away with their services they are absolutely horrible at the job they do.Amwaste Response

They have left our garbage sitting in the road for 4 weeks. I called the several times to say they weren't picking up the garbage. That aI saw the truck picking up neighbors garbage across from my house 3 times I was told they would be to get it. They never did. I called back to tell them to cancel the direct payment for garbage pick up we were closing the account. To come get their garbage can, and the garbage in it. **** said they would be to get. Watched them pass it today, it's still sitting in the road. Paid for service we did not get for three weeks straight!Amwaste Response

The customer account has been cancelled as of 9/30/23 per **************** request and a credit will be issued at month's end. One attempt to retrieve the cart was unsuccessful on October 4 in that there was no cart available at the street to be retrieved. This was the first attempt. A second attempt will be attempted when the cart truck is scheduled for that area. The waste collection vehicle cannot retrieve carts, it must be done with a different vehicle and crew.Review from Deidra D

First I went 2 weeks to have my trash picked up, they finally came out on Aug 30th. Fast forward to Wednesday Sept 13, 2023, which is the next time I got serviced, near 2 weeks since my last pickup. Mind you 2 weeks worth of trash at my home is over 2-3 cans full. Wednesday the driver only dumped 1 of my cans. I have a larger can that does not fit into the auto thing that picks up the cans. Im assuming he didnt feel like getting out of his air conditioned truck to physically put the bags in so he left them after having a verbal in counter with my son who was asking him to get the rest of the trash. While he was trying to dump the 1 can he knocked over the other pile of trash and had no choice but to get out and pick up the trash he knocked over. My husband and I called numerous times requesting a supervisor; we called Thursday Sept 14th and today is Sept 18: still no supervisor call back. There is no problem when they collect my money but picking up trash timely seems to be the hardest thing ever. POOR CUSTOMER, POOR DRIVERS, EVERYTHING JUST ***** ABOUT THIS COMPANY!! And dont bother calling because their only gonna tell you anything to get off the phone. No worries, I guess we will have to haul trash in the trunks of our vehicles like we had to the past couple days because of this mess with this company! This place needs new leadership or needs to be SHUT DOWN, signed a ****** off, soon to be ex customer.
