We called for an estimate for installing hardwood floors in the home we contracted to buy. Mr. ********************** came to our home and measured for the job. He was pleasant and polite. We discussed the job, and he had some recommendations that we agreed upon. He sent a contract to my wife that outlined the scope of the work. I discovered some inconsistencies and reached out to Mr. ****** via phone to discuss.I went through the contract line by line to clarify some of the charges and scope of the work. The contract included the incorrect floor that he recommended when we met at the house. When I questioned him regarding the floor he quickly stated in a very matter of fact tone that this was the floor my wife sent to him. I then agreed and ask about another line item regarding making sure the sub floor was secure and had not become loose. He explained his cost as he started to become irritated. I then ask him if he was going to included charge for prepping the subfloor to make sure it was flat and didn't not have rolls or humps as we discussed at the home. He then became very agitated. I then politely told Mr. ****** that we have a miscommunication of what we are looking for and that we would need to go a different direction. At this point he hung up on me. After a few minutes he contacted my wife to tell her what had took place. He then went on to tell her he didn't ask her to sign a contract when the document clearly said "CONTRACT" in bold letters. He then went on to talk down towards me to her in his text messages. At this point I called Mr. ********************** and ask him to not contact my wife moving forward. He replied to "Go F**k myself". I ask him to not use profanity and to speak in a professional manner. He repeatedly used "F-you' and other foul language. I ask him again to not contact my wife and again he got loud and used the same phrase over and over along with personal attacks on my appearance. This behavior is unacceptable, and we DO NOT recommend this business.
