      I have had nothing but a run around since i purchased a Top of the line lift chair in February 2024. The footrest has torn up twice now in an 8 month period. MOTO is the manufacturer ?? They have been of know help either!! i made sure this chair would work for all my issues. Paid top price which is about $400 above other retailers in my area and on line?? I want my chair replaced. NOW!!!

      Let the buyer beware. Make sure if you buy from them to purchase the 4 year extended warranty or verify that the product you but actually has a manufacturers warranty. I bought a furniture set that broke within less than 6 weeks of delivery. I was told that there was no manufacturers warranty on the products I purchased and since I did not get the extended warranty there was nothing to be done. When I asked for the phone number of the manufacturer I was told that there was not a number to reach the manufacturer and that was why they offered the extended warranty...if I could give no stars then I would.

      My wife and I purchased almost $15k worth of furniture from Hank's Furniture in Dothan, Alabama and was told by the store manager, ******, that it would be delivered within 3-4 weeks. After waiting almost 8 weeks, every piece of furniture was either NOT what we ordered or DAMAGED. The marble coffee table was busted/chipped around the edges, the Spokane console was damaged on the outside and all the glass mirrors on the inside were broken. The three (3) chairs we custom ordered were completely the wrong chairs. Upon proving to the delivery company that this was not the furniture we purchased, they did take possession of the incorrect pieces, however, they would not take back the damaged pieces and insisted I handle those issues with Hank's in Dothan. After several calls with ******, the store manager, he offered to give us a small credit for the damaged pieces, but insisted that anything we returned due to defects would be at our delivery costs. We were very disappointed.

      My wife and I purchased a recliner in 2023 along with a three year warranty the recliner was supposed to be leather. After a few months the finish started pealing off the store told me they don't give refunds so we had to pick another recliner since the original one we picked had been discontinued. We had to pay more money towards the second recliner. The second recliner padding started wearing down to the wood frame making it very uncomfortable. Hanks on Schillingers Rd in Mobile Alabama sent a total of three repair guys to add padding the first two didn't help at all, the third guy over stuffed the chair and had to pull and snatch on the chair in a very rough manner and as a result I noticed approximately 2-3 days later that the metal framing had been warped or bent now while sitting in the chair it causes you to lean to the right arm. I followed up with the retailer here on Schillingers Rd and once again I was told that the current chair is discontinued as well and I would have to pay additional money for another recliner. I showed them my warranty and sales guy kept saying dont worry ive got your back, we'll take care it. The next day hen we returned to settle on the recliner we wanted we were told that I would have to go through the warranty company Guardian, upon contacting them they said I'd have to go through the retailer. Seems like alot of finger pointing. I just want a decent recliner that's comfortable. I'm about ready to file a claim.

      05/28/24 BUYING ALERT I had a very bad experience and only wanted a refund but NOPE. They want to keep 50% of the cost or give me store credit. The couch and love seat was damaged. I never signed for anything at delivery. It was all taken back. It took the Manage (MARK) 4 days to return my numerous phone calls Upon delivery, the couch had a small tear where the drink holder is .It is now very concerning because when I came into the store and looked at this furniture on the display model also had a tear around the drink holder. I was informed that it was a manufactured defect by Mark. So my question now is this tear happen easily around the drink holders. Upon delivery, the love seat had a plastic piece broken from the storage box under the cushion. The men delivering the furniture were kind at first but then when I noticed the defects I was not accepting this. The taller guy let me know quickly we can't take it back. I got on the phone with Kimberly  letting her know what was going on. She told me to send it back. I let the delivery men know that and the taller one became very angry. His attitude changed so fast that I was shocked. He went into his truck and he literally was throwing stuff around with load bangs. He came back in and he was mean mad mug face. It all made me so uncomfortable that I had to get my husband from backyard to come be with me. They loaded up and the mad one was driving and he sped out of our driveway.  FYI: The drivers were sweating so bad on the furniture and on my floor. I literally had to get paper towels and wipe it up and give them some to wipe themselves up. Mark, manager- He made the decision with his boss, NO TO A REFUND Jason/Kimberly- NICE The corporate office, Vanessa was the middle person and of course not on the side of the customer, she gave me the brutal decision made WHY WOULD I WANT TO EVER TO BUSINESS WITH THEM AGAIN?

      Buyer Beware: The BeautyRest Black Label mattress I purchased from HANKS ($4800) began to dip in the middle after 3 months and within 6 months useless. After almost 16 months Hanks has refuse to contact BeautyRest to have a company representative visit my home to examine the mattress to confirm the defect and to offer the same mattress replacement or refund my money.

      We purchased a sectional which was $3500 paid in cash. Immediately it started breaking down so I emailed and called emailed immediatel. No one returned any emails or calls for a yr. This store was over an hour drive away from our home so I was depending on email or calls. Finally after one year I got a response from a new employee Handling customer complaints. It took one yr to get a part that latest less than 3 mths before breaking again. Now order is on order again. I was told they would replace if the part didn't work. Hanks will not even return my emails and they have someone new covering the complaints. Hanks is a total joke. Do not buy from them. FYI; I am still waiting on 2nd part and it's been over 2 yrs we have dealt with this.

      Joshua from the Pensacola store was extremely helpful. My dad and I walked in looking for a chair because I was building a reading nook and he understood what I was asking for and offered his own suggestion in selection. End of story we left with one of his suggestions as he was very friendly and helpful. I would recommend anyone in the area to ask for Joshua.

      Worst experience I ever had buying from hanks. I have a couch 6 months able to use it 4 months and now waiting on part to fix may be a other 2 months no help and no concern on their part. Worst purchase I have ever made.

      Hank’s Fine Furniture ripped us off and scammed us! I bought a bedroom suit and the furniture was delivered. The slats and footboard had cracks in the side rails, twice.. we decided to return the footboard and just attach the headboard to the wall. When we called the store manager,Adam, he said we would have to pay the 140$ delivery fee. Even though the product was cracked and damaged and we were returning it. He was rude to me and my husband on the phone. We advise anyone who is considering buying furniture from Hank’s to go somewhere else. They were overly nice when we were looking to buy, then when we were given broken, damaged furniture and wanted a refund, we were treated horribly. I will never shop there again and would strongly advise others to avoid them.
