I conducted business with this company through my home warranty company. A technicial was dispatched. He did not complete the work safely or professionally and demanded money from my daughter. I called ***** (refuses to respond) so I text her and she dispatched another technicial who completed the job correctly. I gave them a check on 6/4/2024 in the amount of $675.00 and they still have not cashed the check. ***** refused to respond for weeks and finally responded on 6/25/2024 saying that she will deposit the check and as of 7/8/2024. The check still has not been cashed and ***** refuses to respond by phone or via text. I have attempted numerous calls and text with no response. I would like this company to cash my check (which states on my receipt they do accept checks.) BBB, I would like you to contact this company (I cannot find an address) and encourage them to cash this check so I can finalize my business transaction with them.

This contractor was assigned by *** to analyze and repair a water heater. I was charged $100 for them to spend 10 minutes confirming what I had provided, the water heater tank was cracked. They demanded that I pay an additional $615 over and above what *** paid them for the installation. The modifications were to meet their "standards" that consisted of cutting two 1/2 water line threaded fittings so they could solder their flex lines. The total time required was around 10 minutes meaning I paid around $3000 per hour for this work. The technician also left 2 water logged wooden sleeper under the unit that were soaked when the original unit failed. In my view this company took advantage of the *** contact in an egregious manner.

American Home Shield (AHS) warranty hired AM PM to replace my water heater. Prior to starting work, AM/PM provided an estimate for Modifications required to install the water heater. The word Modifications is important here in the context of AHS as it allows the Contractor to charge for additional services directly to the Customer. There were three modifications allegedly required to install the water heater; One for the water lines, one for the hot water relief valve and one for the **** **** fired heater). During the installation, by a third party contractor hired by AM PM, I documented that only one of the modifications was required. another was partially completed although not strictly necessary. When I disputed to bill with AM PM and offered to pay for the work actually competed $380 out of $672, they sent their contractor out to the house to uninstall the water heater. He told me that he would not get paid unless he got the full amount of the original estimate. I also received e-mails from AM PM threatening to call the police and to put a lien on the property. I paid the Contractor because I believed that the dispute was not of his making and he did not belong in the middle of it. Bottom line: I agreed for them to start based on an estimate of work required. Most of that work was not required and when I disputed the bill they held their Contractor hostage until he got the money. It is my belief that AM PM are charging AHS for a full install and then fraudulently charging the Customer for basically the same work and using that money to pay their contractors. As an aside I would also like to document that upon receiving the service call from AHS, the first thing AM PM did was to send out a drywall contractor who offered to repair what was very little damage and make a claim to our homeowners insurance. They also offered to pay us up to **** towards our deductible. when we declined they said we would need to sign a waiver of some kind.

Had them sent out by home warranty company for a water heater replacement. They added an additional $615 to the bill that Id have to pay out of pocket! They said it was for redoing all the water inlet, outlet and tp valve plumbing. there was nothing wrong with the current working pipes. They were just padding their bill to rip me off. They said theyd not replace the wh unless I paid the extra!Subsequently I had to replace the water heater myself and because they sent the quote to the home warranty company stating that the pipes were bad, I cant get reimbursed for the new wh I bought. Tech treated me badly when he was at my home when I questioned the pipe work. They came out on 6/9/23. Since I got screwed by them by not installing the water heater under my home warranty and I had to buy it myself I want them to reimburse me the $519+tax I paid for the water heater. The image is of the pipes they said were all bad and had to be replaced for $615. Theres nothing wrong with those pipes.

AM PM Plumbing came out at the request of our ********************* due to a water heater leak. They misled us to believe that the water heater needed to be replaced and that it would be covered under the warranty. They then added unnecessary repairs to the project list that were not covered by the warranty. They claimed that pipe modifications were needed to replace the water heater. These "modifications" were not covered under the warranty and they were requesting $650 out of pocket. This is after they have already detached our water heater, leaving us with very limited options to provide hot water for our family. When I called to inquire about why these modifications would be necessary, the technician informed me that they would not replace the water heater without doing the "modifications", but if I left a five-star online review for their company, then I could get $100 off the out of pocket cost. We halted the entire process and hired someone privately to come in and replace the water heater. No pipe modifications needed. They should not be able to continue scamming people like this, it is an absolutely disgusting way to do business.

I have a dripping sink and filed a repair request with American Home Shield (AHS) Home Warranty. AHS dispatched AM/PM Plumbing to repair the problem. The incompetent plumber came out and mistakenly read the temperature gauge on the water heater for water pressure and refused to perform the work saying that my water pressure is too high.

ad to use this company through our home warranty company. In the middle of our 7 year old daughters cancer fight and chemo treatments our hot water heater went out. This company took many days to come out to service and assist even though we let them know for hygienic and water damage reason it was a pressing issue. They charged us and extra 600$ out of pocket to install the new hot water heater. The other plumbing companies we spoke too said this was simply a way for them to get more profits. They put in the hot water heater incorrectly, I had to call another plumber to come and fix. This company would not come back out or answer phones or return our call. We had to pay another 315 out of pocket to new company to finally have hot water. This company is deceitful and took advantage of us and our daughters cancer situation. Please please avoid this company if at all possible.
