CHECK YOUR RECEIPT BEFORE LEAVING THIS ESTABLISHMENT, KEEP YOUR RECEIPT AND CHECK YOUR BANKING/CREDIT INSTITUTION IMMEDIATELY TO MAKE SURE THE CHARGES DROPPED ARE WHAT YOU BELIEVED YOU PAID. This review is for the ***********, Ocotillo, store. In July, 2023, I signed my credit card receipt for $162 and some change. When it showed up on my credit card statement, it was for $199 and some change. I didn't catch it right away on the statement but when I did, I called the store who referred me to their corporate office. ******** was very kind (communicating only through email - no phone conversation allowed). They did a cursory investigation, made a lot of assumptions and ended up stating that since it had been 6 months since the visit, they could no longer find the receipt.There was also a $25.00 charge one month before the visit mentioned above that I also asked them to investigate as I had not been in the store during that time. The answer was "this is for a haircut and the customer had to be there to sign the receipt. Well, I wasn't there the month before. I do not get my hair cut every month and I do not make a special trip to a salon just to buy products as the markup is ridiculously high. Also, if they found the receipt for the older visit why couldn't they find the receipt for the more current visit? Final Conclusion: I'm out $65.00 and a hair salon I've been going to for over 3years.

***** is the best he gave me exactly what I asked for both times with him . Also a great guy he listens to what your wanting and does it. I'm very happy with my hair after years of getting bad haircuts.

February 2022 ****** hit my head with her blow dryer. I knew at that point that I wouldn't return to AZ ******** Then my ear was burned from the especially hot blow dryer that was too close to my ear. While she seemed nice enough at my prior visit when I pain $179 for a color service and she said to me "I got you *****", her demeanor was not the same when I returned a week later to tweak the color for which I paid an additional $58. I asked her to darken the orange cast left in my hair from my prior visit. I asked her what color she was using to darken my hair to confirm it was a 6N which she usually used on my hair and looked good. She wouldn't tell me the color and in the end the product she used didn't change a thing to my hair color.It wasn't the price of the services at AZ Hair rather the aggressive defense that ****** used in her response to my concern. Not pretty.
