********************* made an agreement with me to install an iron security gate to my front door for 800$. He asked for 400$ (50% upfront) to start the work and 50% after completing the work. He gave his wife's ****************************** phone number and asked me to send 400$ via Zelle in January. I sent 50$ and 350$ totalling up to 400$ in January. He said he will install the gate on the 30th of January, but never installed the gate. He won't pick my calls, said he will come on a date, never shows up, even told me he started to my house and will be there in 45 minutes, never shows up, won't pick calls and lies that the truck won't start, the gate had scratches, had to repaint - some or the other excuse, Now he will not return my calls or messages. It looks like he scammed several other people after reading the reviews on yelp. ********************* appeared at my home after asking neighbors where I lived on September 26, 2023. He was made aware that I was looking to build a gate by word of mouth. He drove *********** looking for my property and showed up on my door step. As a business owner I though this guy has "drive. "After discussion about the project -I paid him a 50% deposit to start the project. $2450 cash. He said I could zelle the money to him - but when I attempted to do so he was not a registered Zelle participant so I ended up - giving him cash To build a gate, arch and make it automated. All seem well and he reappeared at the house with two trucks and some steel on October 6th. The guys got to work on setting Two Steel poles and we talked about a carport I want to add to the project- it just so happened he had two additional post on his truck and could start that same day. At that time he indicated he would have my projects completed by weds October 11th, 2023, He verbally quoted me $3800 total on the carport- But wanted More than 50% down and this time he wrote in for taxes. I questioned the increase deposit percentage and in the end - pulled $2900 per his request and stated ** pay the rest once done.His guys work most of the day and I thought - great this was going to be done in a week, He had also showed me a metal sign he made to place on my gate so was feeling confident. 2 week later and 5 missed appointments. Had not returned any message. Does not answer my calls and sent me email contract with inaccurate accounts of monies paid/ incorrect completion and start dates and remaining balance.Initial Complaint

I hired ********************* February 17,2023 To construct an aluminum patio cover I gave him a check in the amount of $1500 as he requested. April 25,2023, he came to my patio & had Mexican men (2) who spoke no English dig hole, fill with concrete , insert 4x4 x @7ft pipe. Another pipe he left on my patio. He postponed over four times with various excuses for not showing up for scheduled installation. I feel as though he is ignoring me & has no intention of completion the installation. IM OUT $2500. (My savings). I had told him please accompany men as none spoke English. Will not return my calls.Initial Complaint

We hired **** in July 2022 to build a fence and agreed on a porch in August 2022. We paid him a total of over $11, 215 for everything. He did a botched job on the fence using damaged materials, lamps that don't work, such a sloppy, imperfect job on the fence and concrete. Damaged posts on the porch. Shady job on the welding work on the porch. He incorrectly measured the section of fence that was going to go in between brick fences and forced the section on with a hammer and caused damage. Concrete slab was sloppy and crooked. He agreed that we could fixed his poorly done cement( we have witnesses) and now he alleges he didnt. On August 5th **** came to make an estimate for the porch. We have in writing the size of the porch that we wanted, measured to be 30x 20x 20 high. These are current measurements of the posts that are up. On August 8th **** misled my husband making him think that the measurements were less then the above. My husband told him again the size of the porch we wanted. Now he is trying to charge us another $1, 680 falsely claiming extra measurements he never added to our porch. **** is being coercive and he threatening us with charging us more money for returned materials and is not finishing the job until we give him the money. Above all that there is a false 5 star ****** review with a picture of our fence with our house with a forged account, that was published without permission. He has not finished the fence or the porch. We told **** to take down the porch posts and return our Money. I want the total of the porch returned to us and to pay for damages done to our fence and botched cement pad totaling, $6,063. I added pictures of damages and cement work, contracts and also a spreadsheet we sent **** showing all payment made to him. We asked him for proof for the extra charges, **** has not provided any. We also want him to take down the false ****** review.Initial Complaint

The date of the transaction occurred on 8/18/22 when a downpayment of $4,500 was given to ************************ in exchange for his service of installing a backyard shaded structure (see picture provided). 8/29/22 was the date agreed upon in which the completion of the structure would happen. On 8/29/22 **** showed up with his team only to drop off a few bags of concrete and had mentioned he had to go "somewhere" and would be back, but before he left he asked that we pay $500 (never mentioned for what it was for) below I have provided the updated contract. Since then **** has ignored phone calls and messages and on the few and rare times he answers he simply makes excuse after excuse on why he can't show up and **** keeps making up false dates where he promises he would show up to complete the work agreed on. ****. A ****** is avoiding the work even after the downpayment of $5,000 has been exchanged for the material required. As of 8/31/22 **** has made no effort in solving this problem and is ignoring any concerns of mine. After researching **** and his business I've come to find many people who shared my experience and I have noted he has a complaint on his name from the BBB before for a similar situation. What I am seeking from this business is a refund for the downpayment made for the materials of $5,000. Gave ********************* $1000.00 deposit for gate and remote solar-powered opener in March,2022. Gave him another $2000.00 for additional supplies.Gave him $1500.00 for 20x20 carport. To date I have neither. Has consistently lied to me why cannot be finished. Now not returning calls.Initial Complaint

On Jan 15, 2022, I hired ********************* from Iron Horse Welding to build a fence and install some gates. I gave him 1/2 down payment ($4,700). I never signed a contract. We later changed our minds and decided to go with another company. **** said he would pay us back within 14 days. But after a month now, he has never paid us back and refuses to answer his phone or respond to texts.Initial Complaint

**** entered into a contract with me to build a new gate for my home. He took a $500 deposit from me to do this work and has not completed the work. **** took down my old fence and is now ignoring my calls and messages. I would like to get my deposit back.
