We first arrived at ***************************** property for our initial inspection on 04/25/2023. We wrote up an estimate of repairs for her insurance company and were able to submit it to them for review within two business days. ********************* requested some revisions to our scope and we revised our invoice and resubmitted for approval and informed the homeowner on the same day. We let her know that the funds were headed to her directly and to give us a call when she received the funds so we could collect a deposit and get her on the schedule.
Unfortunately, the insurance company released the funds for her repairs and included the mortgage company on her check. We worked with ****** and helped her get the documentation and paperwork put together, however this did delay our ability to get started on her repairs.
We were able to finally collect our deposit on 06/05/2023, Monday, and immediately scheduled for her repairs to begin the following Monday, 07/12. We also had informed the customer that once the cabinets were rebuilt and set in her kitchen, that the countertop vendor would take specialty measurements and start the fabrication process, which can take up to two weeks. We ensured that a temporary sink was placed during this time frame between each step in the project as a courtesy.
********************* only allowed for us to re-set the existing countertop, however we were able to replace the damaged countertop for her. ********************* also only allowed for us to reset the existing p-trap, however it did need to be replaced and repaired.
We had also informed the homeowner that we would be crediting her account the plumbing line items for the ** system reset as well as the **trap so she could have the initial and original plumber at her property complete that portion of services. This is normal practice for the plumbing portion of work to be returned to the original plumber who was on site. We actually gave her a credit of more money on her invoice than that of which her insurance company provided to try and assist her as well and be as helpful as possible.
The repairs were completed on 07/05/2023 which is exactly 3 weeks and two days from the date we begun swinging hammers at her property.
We truly believe we went above and beyond at ***************************** property and that the complaint lodged against us is tantamount to slander.
