On June 29, 2022 I purchased an item from the business via Instagram. We arranged a time for pick up that we both agreed on but then the business messaged me directly letting me know that they had some closures due to Covid. The closure due to Covid had already placed my pick up outside of the standard time frames outlined in this companys policy. The business owner messaged me directly via Instagram the night of July 11, 2022 and asked me to come pick up the item. I let them know I could not make it today and they let me know that they would be keeping my money and not providing me with the product that I purchased because I was outside of the pick up time frames. I explained to the business owner that pick up times were delayed because of their Covid closure. The business owner did not have any sympathy and repeated that she would be keeping my money if I did not pick up the next day. I live about 40 miles away from the business and cannot adjust my schedule at the drop of a hat. I would be satisfied with a refund because I will not be able to pick up the item and if I pay a business for an item and dont receive it that is theft. Again I requested a refund from the business owner due to the miscommunication on their part regarding pick up hours and policies and she declined.Initial Complaint

On may 24th I paid this business (of which claimed to be a LLC yet I can't find their business registered here) for a desk. We had discussed that the said desk did not meet my criteria and she offered me store credit for the item. Ever since I have reached out to this girl asking if I can use my store credit on other items listed on her website and she has denied every single request. At this point it seems like a scam, I had offered to pay a restocking fee because it was a small business but she refused that too. She was not willing to meet me in the middle what so ever, when I told her I will file a complaint with Zelle, she went ahead and blocked me. At this point it seems like a scam and I have reached out to my local PD to file a compliant which is still in progress.
