      *** Bicycles Response:

***************** came into *** Bicycles on April 3, 2023. He looked at various E-Bikes. He was shown
several different models and settled on trying a few. He was excited about a few bikes in our AS IS
purchases. (These are new bikes He purchased a JSL 29er ************* 500-watt 48 v with two
      batteries.

****** returned 24 hours later and decided he didnt like that as much as another one. He traded for
the Humai 500-watt fat tire 26 in. with a new strong battery. This bike was also sold AS IS with no
warranty. The bike comes with maintenance or tune-*** as needed for free. maintenance or Tune-***
for free. This purchase was made on April 4, 2024.

****** came by on Friday, April 7, 2023, in the early afternoon. He showed us all the improvements he
added to the bike. He added stereo speakers on the front handlebars and a few stickers to the frame.
****** came by July 3 he was visiting with my office manager, ***********************. He was laughing and
talking about how powerful the battery is and showed off his new e-bike by spinning out the rear tire.
He came in to see what new tires would cost and to have them ordered. He wasnt sure about buying
them just yet but I ordered them at that point to have them when he was able to get them. *****, the
mechanic who cares for the bikes, took a quick look at the bike. ****** says he travels quite a bit with
      this bike.

****** called *** Bicycles about mid-July 2023 and told me that his bike fell over and that the thumb
throttle broke off. I informed him I would do some research about a replacement throttle. I said to him
it is good that it is a pedal-assist bike (PAS) too.

The next time I heard from ****** is early August and he said that he uses a s**** to keep the throttle
on and rides the bike. He is riding with the throttle fully engaged as well as a pedal assist engaged and
uses the brakes this type of treatment will burn out the controller and overheat the motor.

This kind of treatment to an
e-bike would Null and Void any company&#**;s warranty. It is not normal wear. He knew this bike was
and as is purchase. He ****** used the bike correctly he wouldnt have burned up the controller.
In September I got a phone call from Johnnys girlfriend, asking what we can do, and I said we can look
at it but ****** mishandled his bike and probably shouldnt have put a s**** in the throttle to keep it
on all the time. She said what do you expect him to do in 117 degrees in temperature? I reminded her
that his bike does have pedal assist and it was a bicycle first. ****** brought the bike to us to see what
we could do. After inspection, we said we should have to put a new kit on the frame. The controller is

burned up and the motor has issues. It generally needs to make sure the controller (brain), throttle, and
motor are all compatible. Not easy to replace just one part.
He didnt want to pay for any repairs. Parts that are burned up would not be covered under a warranty
if he had one. Again, this bike was sold with no warranty which he was aware of. These actions
      wouldnt be covered regardless.

      Respectfully submitted,
