6/7/2021 John D**** 510 tractor delivered to Team Tractor along with (listed) new parts and manual. I stated Engine had been overhauled prior to delivery. They stated never overhauled. I have recently researched The original Tractor company I purchased from . They have paperwork it was overhauled. Team Tractor has never shown me any replaced parts as agreed upon. (I requested prior to working on engine) I was never shown internal (engine break down evidence) an overhaul was necessary. My new parts were stored outdoors exposed to weather in a plastic bin in front of tractor. Tractor stored outside exposed to weather. Engine was stored outside exposed to weather. Panel to engine and electrical components left open exposed to weather. (All Witnessed by third party) Worker unqualified to work on this tractor. Worker stated “the tractor almost killed me” when attempting to start because he lacked knowledge of gear selection. (training issue) Team Tractor expansion of covered area from weather exposure did not include covering my tractor. Team Tractor has missed every estimated completion date. No longer even bothering to provide me with reasoning. In abbreviated terms my tractor is held hostage exposed to weather conditions that continue to generate required maintenance and bill me me in a perpetual cycle of revenue for them and personal harm to me and my family farm. They never intended to finish the work from the beginning since no one was trained and/or qualified to do the work. I have determined I am a fraud victim when: 1.) previous Tractor company did rebuild engine. 2.) No parts replaced retained for my inspection as agreed upon 3.) No inspection of internal components of engine by me prior to engine rebuild 4.) I provided new parts and manual. New parts stored outside in weather. Manual lost. 5.) Tractor and components left out in weather. All protective panels left off exposed to weather including all electrical wiring. 4/13/2022 final inspectionBusiness response

Dear all, please find included notes behind each statement. We are also attaching a copy of the repair order with all notes fully detailed which includes dates-> see file TicketReport – 2022 - 04. Also attached are all text communications between customer and our service department -> see file David Schoppaul-TTE*-scan. Some of the pictures are attached as well, please let me know if you will need more. After reading below and the repair order information, let me know if you need any clarification.
Also note, when the customer came in before 6/7/21 we told him we would not work on his unit as we were short-staffed, and the tractor was completely apart. However, the customer came again, a couple of weeks later, when our service manager wasn’t there and spoke to our service advisor. Our service advisor agreed to take on the job but made the customer aware that this was a major project that would require a lot of money and time.
Customers statements and TTE comments:
6/7/2021 John D**** 510 tractor delivered to Team Tractor along with (listed) new parts and manual.
The engine was delivered to us on 6/7, the tractor was delivered to us on 7/9. No manual was provided, please see the comments below.
I stated Engine had been overhauled before delivery. They stated never overhauled. I have recently researched The original Tractor company I purchased from. They have paperwork it was overhauled.
Please, see the repair order attached for complete notes. We spoke with the customer over the phone, AND he came here in person and inspected it with the engine disassembled. The customer agreed engine was not overhauled. The customer approved in person but since it wasn’t in writing, we sent him a text for approval on 8/11 to the rebuilt engine. The customer responded, “you have my approval”. See attached text chain.

I directed any/all parts replaced needs to be retained in order to verify replacement was necessary. That has not been done. In addition I submitted a list of new parts and a service manual that included details of the overhaul from the previous owner. You left the parts out in the weather and lost my manual and new parts. In addition you left any/all panels open to the environmental subject to rain heat and cold. Then wanted additional funds to fix wiring that was damaged by your neglect. Untrained employees of yours worked on my tractor causing damage and was a hazard to themselves. I am in contact with the tractor company that did the previous overhaul and requested paperwork. I am also retaining signed affidavits from previous owner what new parts were included and logged into the manual you so conveniently lost.
I have asked that any/all work cease on my tractor. I want my tractor delivered to my farm. I want to sit down with a manger in an attempt to resolve this “train wreck” of mismanagement and (at the very least) unprofessional customer service. Please have a responsible manager call me to set up an appointmentBusiness response

First, on behalf of our entire company, we are very sorry to learn through the BBB that **. ********* experience has not met his expectations. Team Tractor has grown past twenty-four years due in no small part to consistently focusing on great customer experiences and doing whatever it takes to make sure that each and every customer is fully satisfied. Regardless of what has happened in the past, we are (and will continue to be) ready and willing to take whatever reasonable measures required to resolve the matter quickly to Mr. Schoppaul satisfaction.
After a detailed review of the issues and specifics, documentation, past communications, it does appear as a misunderstanding and failure in communication has led us to the current situation. With that said, our goal is to agree on a resolution that works for everyone.
First and foremost, as Mr. Schoppaul has stated, we were brought commercial piece of heavy equipment for repair that was not operable, nor had it been previously operable at any time he owned it. Please, find files attached for more information.
The bottom line is that amounts are due and owing for labor time and materials.
Sincerely,
TTE TeamCustomer response

Yes, my tractor was inoperative when I brought it to Team Tractor. You advertised tractor repair. You agreed to repair my tractor. You stated worst case 6K. You stated repaired within a few months. It’s almost been a year in your yard outside in weather. You lost my manual with rebuild records (not to worry I am reconstitute all rebuild records from original owner along with bill of sale and new part inventory given to you) You stated you could not find parts. I located parts for you and sent you the contact information. You have given me the same story again and again regarding “…awaiting parts”, “… employee out sick”, “…unable to locate parts” (yet I have located with a simple search engine and within Phoenix area.
You said it best when you put in writing. “ …should not have taken on this repair job” (YOU made a mistake)
Bottomline, you do not return my phone calls. You do not return my emails. You do not comply with my request to meet with owner or a resolution MGR. I fail to see any sincere attempt to resolve this issue. I have made multiple efforts without even a return phone call. You are holding my property without my consent. I demand that you return my property to my farm immediately (left in the open sun next to rain and extreme heat is further damaging my property)
Once my property is returned I will consider further discussions if you will return my calls and/or emails.
Sincerely,
***** *********
