I used this company to move from ******* to ************. There was so many issues with the move and I ended up filing an arbitration claim against the company. I realized that I was going to get screwed over out of the deal so I accepted the settlement offer of $270 which was far less than I was ripped off but my wife and I decided it wasnt worth fighting any further. The settlement was approved on 8/19/2023 and the company was supposed to send a check. No check has arrived.

I was moving to *****. Was contacted by ********************** to do this. My original quote was $2,906.00. When I gave them a total box/item count my quote went up to $5,984.00. With this I was told all loading fees were included in my estimate. I was NEVER told there would be anything more that I would have to pay. When they arrived to pick up my items they had half of my stuff loaded into the moving truck. Come to find out ***************** is a broker and the moving company and Ryder and not the same. The moving Company APX Moving then told me (again after more than half my items were loaded) that I needed to pay them a total of $10,960 minus the deposits that I had already paid of $3580. That day I needed to pay them $$3,580 in CASH. I was told when I was speaking to ***** that I could pay with a credit card. The ******* refused to take a credit card and only would take cash. Then before my stuff would even begin to be moved to ***** (a week later) I had to pay $$1,880 to a third company, Freeway. Moving **** When they finally arrived over the promised 5-10 days (total of 20 days to get my stuff) I had to pay them another $1,880 before they even would unload my items into my house. They broke 2 items and because they chose for me the option to get 60 cents per pound (crossed out the other option) they are only offering me $42 dollars for items that cost over $5,000 total between the 2 damaged items. I also had 20 boxes less than the quote given on 12/29 and 1 medium sized statue less and somehow my total jumped over $5k more than I was told I would be paying. I was expecting to pay less since I had fewer items. These folks use a Russian ******* that doesn't speak good english and no explanation, plus they already have your items before telling you what they are requiring you to pay now. I should receive at least $5,000 refunded for overcharge and $1,000 dollars at least for the damaged items.

We hired a company moving from Phoenix AZ to Chester, VA. That company was called *** **** ****** *******. They hired another company APX Van Lines to do the view. A big 18 wheeler was supposed to pick up our stuff but it was not a big truck. We were told that the stuff would be in truck and then moved to the final destination in **. However, this was not the case. The actual movers from APX Van Lines said it will be moved to their warehouse and unloaded (pack and unload #1). We were told it could take a month but then we got a call saying our stuff will be moved within a week. The household was then put into another truck (not a big truck going cross country) but in a smaller truck with someone else's stuff going to NJ (pack and unload #2). During this multiple move, some good dishes were cracked and we sent pictures to *** Claims Service. We also had a family guitar (Gibson Les Paul) that was missing, most likely stolen because it was in a Gibson Case, It was listed in the bill of lading document. So APX Van Lines knows this. The driver who dropped off the household refused to check off each box (I have had multiple moves in my lifetime and this has never happened). Also, the driver pissed off the 3 hired help to unload the boxes because they were there at 6:00 and were not paid extra so they left before putting the furniture together. *** Claims Service came back to me after I filed a complaint, not once but twice, and they refused to pay for the broken dishes and the lost guitar claiming no responsibility. This is beyond unethical. I sent the photos and their driver did not check off the boxes like he should have. Had this been done, I would have known the prized guitar was missing. Now I am out around $2500 (guitar, guitar case and cost of the broken dishes). Even the actual claims information is not on the *** Claims Service.

Defrauded by Unauthorized DOT motor carrier. Not legally authorized to perform household goods interstate moving or contracting. Did not fulfill **** day delivery window. Past 30 days from first available delivery date. Put entire household goods in storage without our consent. (3 family combined move) Move was sold as door to door service. $24000 move sold as **** Cubic Feet. Requested recast cubic feet measurement and was denied. Did not ship goods on our moving list from broker Safe Ship. Left items which were tagged to go on the truck. Overcharged minimum of $5000-6000 plus paid out of pocket $1300 to move side by side which was on manifest and declined by driver. Need to spend $3000 more to rent truck and move what APX left behind. Sold goods and another $2000 loss on offerup just to get out of the house before we close. Paid $2200 on washer and dryer that driver declined to take unless we pay $500 bulky fee on top of the space used. This fee was not on the agreement or notified ahead of time as they were both listed on manifest but not taken. ****** refused to take desk, armoire, entire bedroom set. Seeking refund of $12,300 Paid additional $1800 and $850 in shuttle fees due to 2 separate moves and 53 ft trailer that we requested a 48 trailer that would have filled all of our household goods in one door to door move. Also have photos of what was not taken that was tagged and what was not taken that was on the moving estimate and included in the cost of shipment before it was increased by 900 cubic feet. Can provide separately.

They were supposed be delivered to me in ******** in 5 to 15 business days and now its been over 30 days. There was also a mechanical breakdown and the truck had to be unloaded and reloaded. They also can't tell me where the truck is. They also tell me that they can't reach the driver. They have put my belongings in storage and there was no mention that I knew of of any sort of storage time or charges. I want my belongings delivered to me as promised.

WE officially hired Summit moving services the end of November 2021. We paid our deposit and were quoted a fair price, not the cheapest nor the most expensive. December 15th they come out to survey our load to move, someone from another company. Next day we get a call that our move is now 5k more than quoted!!! After reaching an agreement we got that down. When they showed up to pickup on December 24th, 2 days late, we were now asked for another ****k right then and there or no move. Mind you our flights were the next morning on XMAS day across country! We had no choice. When we first were in conversation with ******* at Summit, she assured me my plants would go and would be fine as long a I signed a waiver. Well... my plants did not come as they refused after we had already paid for them to travel. Now the delivery. Again, another company Apex moving dba next level logistics. We are missing our 65" tv, all of our pots and pans and all of our glassware. No one from any company will call me back to talk about this. We did end up with someone else's boxes that I did mention on my voicemail but again no call back. I am not going to throw someone else's stuff away when Apex could easily find the location and point me in the right direction to contact them. In closing, I would strongly suggest not using a broker to move.Orange lot attached is ours and the white is not ours

We contacted a moving broker Atlantic Movers, which farmed us out to another company APX moving. Fees were quoted for our move, which ended up being higher in the end. We had extreme difficulty in getting a hold of APX moving to deliver our household goods. Upon delivery boxes were crushed, glass was spilling out the bottom of some. Many of the boxes were wet and dirty as if stored outside. Some items are missing. The movers told me to contact the broker who emailed me a form saying to contact the moving company. I contacted the moving company and explained the issues, asking for a claims paper. She text back that no such thing existed. I asked if they could call the movers to check if our item was on the truck. I only received texts asking if I or they packed items. I was also sent condescending responses and emojis. She text that she knows how her business runs and she was trying to tell me the steps. I responded with wanting to get started on these steps. Nothing has happened yet. Both Atlantic movers and APX moving company were not easy or pleasant to work with. At this point I dont even know how I will get my items replaced/found. We have not even opened all the boxes to see the full damage. We are just discouraged because we paid nearly $7000 for this move. We also changed our delivery address to a closer location and was told someone would contact us for an adjustment but nobody did. We had to have a money order of the amount requested before the driver would unload our belongings. We really felt this whole process had us under hostage and there was nothing we could do but pay the amount requested. Below are just some of the pictures on delivery day. The movers did not tell us we should look through each box and document damaged/missing items. We were told by Atlantic movers we have 90 days from delivery to put in a claim but it needs to be to APX. APX when asked for a claim sheet told me nothing like that exists!
