Just to make this clear for people who visit this site...our very small nonprofit called "The Ocean Project" is being confused with the Ocean Project company, a for profit. It's very confusing and frustrating, as they are definitely not us and are misleading MANY people, to say the least. We had to shut down our FB page two years ago because there were so many upset people who were (wrongly) blaming us. It IS confusing and we have received complaints from several hundred people. Just please remember that we are a .org (nonprofit), a small organization, that has truly focused on ocean conservation to help protect the animals including turtles, sharks, whales, and all of us who need a healthy ocean to survive and thrive. We have been working for ocean conservation for over 25 years. I bought a necklace on Dec 10, 2021. It showed up the weeks later, which was fine, but it was missing the ring that attaches the pendant to the chain, so its useless. I tried calling and sent multiple emails to customer support but never got a response. I finally responded to one of the promotional emails, because they email you every day once you give them your money, threatening to do everything I can to smear their name online. Someone named **** responded and it sounded like they were going to fix my issue. I got an email on January 11, 2022 stating that my item has shipped, but there was no tracking number included. It is now February 2 and I havent gotten my item and no responses to the multiple emails that I have sent since the 11th asking for a tracking number. I wish I wouldve looked these scumbags up before I placed my order. They delete comments on Instagram and ******** because all of them are from angry customers. I hope someone reads this and it helps them decide not to buy from these crooks.

This is a scam. Ocean Project doesn't know anything about sea turtles. Marathon is a male sea turtle that is called a loggerhead and a leatherback in the same sentence. Also, it was supposedly tracked when it came on the beach to nest. Male turtles don't nest. Once born, males never leave the ocean. And a turtle can't be both a loggerhead and a leatherback.Ocean Project Response

I got a BEAUTIFUL turtle and octopus necklace. It too them a LONG time but they did answer my emails. I was going to donate to the removing plastic from the ocean project but am wondering about that being a scam. If it is, SHAME ON THEM!Review from WARREN S

Purchase a necklace from them they created a shipping document told me ahead shipped 2 weeks later I get a hold of them to find out why it hasn't shipped and they tell me it's out of stock to pick a different item so I pick a different item and it still hasn't ships and now they refuse to answer any emailsOcean Project Response
