On November 25th, 2021 my kitchen sink was leaking/clogged/the garbage disposal was not working. I submitted a work order and the garbage disposal was replaced however the kitchen sink is still leaking. I was submitted multiple work orders to have a functioning kitchen sink however they seem to go ignored. I was called the office and spoke to ******** and she stated someone will come fix the kitchen sink the first week of January. There have been two vendors that arrived at the rental unit however they were to take "measurements" of the kitchen sink, and the sink is still leaking. I have called the company to let them know the sink leaking is causing a mold mildew smell and I cannot live in these conditions with my child. As well pest control stated that the leaking sink is inviting cockroaches into my home. I have called the leasing company multiple times they seem not to care. I have asked to be let out of my lease because these are not habitual living conditions.Business response

Dear Sirs,
We are in receipt of the attached complaint. We do acknowledge that there is a problem with the kitchen sink. We also acknowledge that we have sent over multiple vendors in the assessment and repair of the sink. The reason that multiple Vendors have been sent is that the sink itself and the countertop are a custom design and are like no others available to us at this time. We sought a estimate for a replacement and submitted this to the Owner who rejected the replacement and wishes to repair the sink. We have recently found someone who can repair the sink and had an appointment on March 7 to assess it and said he can do it. Unfortunately the tenant became verbally abusive to the Vendor and one of our team members calling our team member "a f****** fat a** white bitch" so they walked out and asked her what time would be a good time for her to make the repair. The tenant then became angry again saying that we have to give her a written notice. So the team member confirmed her email with her and the resident agreed to set up an appointment Saturday March 12 at 10:30 am and when the maintenance tech showed up the resident was not home. FYI we have also lost a team member because of her verbal assaults to that member.
At this point we are in the process of preparing a legal notice to gain entry to make the repair or have her evicted from the property for failure to allow us to repair, verbal assaults on staff members and the removal of unauthorized pets.
We are offering to allow the resident to break her lease and move out by March 31, 2022, leaving the property in broom clean condition and receiving her full deposit along with us removing the unauthorized fines for her illegal pets.
Please let us know as soon as possible.
Thanks
