  I bought a newly renovated house on Sept. 15, 2022. *********************** was the contractor and the only person I had contact with. I understand I have a 2-year guarantee for the contractor's work.The first winter I lived here, 2022-2023, the house did not heat properly. It was alway cold. Then, the summer of 2023, the ** didn't cool properly. I had several HV** companies here to look at the situation. They all concurred that the unit providing the heat and air conditioning was too small and insufficient for the size of my house. My house is ***** square feet and the unit would only sufficiently work for a house of ***** square feet. ***** was the subcontractor.I wrote to the contractor and the owner - whose name is *** and I have no other info - as you can see in the attachments. The response from **** was he would send ***** to look at it. ***** said everything was fine and some of the ducts needed additional foam. **** sent someone here to do that, and of course that didn't begin to solve the problem. When I complained to Billl he said my contract was with *****. I told him my contract was with him, not ***** - I didn't hire *****.Efficiency Mechanical came and added another unit, to make a second zone. They did a good job and were very helpful and told me I should file a complaint. I did with the **** but they said because I had remedied the problem, they couldn't help, but also told me to take a different avenue for the complaint.These were my costs:Efficiency Mechanical: $16,300 Desert Shield Roofing.: ***** ********** services: ******* Managing agent fee: ******** Total: $24,319.64 Also, my garage door failed in May 2023. Again, **** and the garage installer refused to take responsibility for the repair. They waited me out for 3 weeks and I had to have it fixed, myself.That cost a total of: $896.14 I have 2 more issues to describe.
